The Raptors really wouldn't be getting much back. Thomas is an underachiever, Gooden is an expiring, and one first rounder are really not that much.
^That's what the Suns would be getting, the Raps would get Amar'e.
I also assume that the Suns would get 1sts from both Chicago and Toronto.
Something like this, plus picks.

That's ghey, I'd send Sheed + a first for Amare. Who gives a fuck about Tyrus Thomas.
If this Bosh/Amare megadeal happens, it would be a straight shot to Joe D's well-padded ribcage.
This is exactly why waiting for 2010 is a bad plan for the Pistons.
If Toronto and Chicago make this deal for superstars, I think there is little/no chance that these guys ever hit the open market in 2010.
Yeah, I would expect Bosh to team up with Rose for years.
Wouldn't the suns rather have Sheed/Amir/1st instead of that crap though?
Some people think that somewhere in Tyrus Thomas soul is a dynamic All-Star trying to breakout.
I think TT is and will always be nothing more than simple bench fodder. He'll put up a cute stat line in a game every so often, but only to prove it was a total fluke the next night.
He'll always be viewed as one of those 'Darius Miles' type players, where GM's think that he'll always have 'tremendous upside' due to his skillset.
It will be interesting to see how many trades are made for actual on-court basketball reasons and how many are just accounting procedures.
If you believe what you read, there are going to be a lot of sellers and not many buyers.
Which should mean that there is value to be had for teams with assets.

I wonder if that "inner ear infection" that the Clippers claimed that Camby had last night was legit?
