It was a great performance, in any case.
AI was just as good, IMO.
I doubt you'd want it. I (accidentally) had him sign my Tay jersey.Quote:

as long as a majority of those 29 shots are attacking the rim, i honestly don't care. stuckey's going to get a reputation with the officials very quickly and he'll be getting to the line more and more. like we saw with stuckey's assist to AI in the final quarter, he's going to learn when to differ when defenses start to focus and collapse on him. stuckey's show himself to be a deft passer.Quote:

Put an unselfish guy who can knock down perimeter shots and defend next to him and you're set. (If only Afflalo could make that outside shot consistent)
Notable is the fact that at the end of the game he was on fire, the crowd was chanting "Rod-ney, Rod-ney", he was knocking on 40, and still his last 2 plays were getting AJ a dunk and Iverson a jumper. He's looking to win first, not to put up numbers. In this one, with so many key scorers missing, winning meant him putting the ball in the hoop a bit more than usual.
Also the fact that his record as a starting point for his career is pretty absurd. 17-3, with all 3 losses coming while playing small ball. It speaks for itself.
I knew that record was good, but I didn't think it was quite that good. Dang.Quote:
