Looks like footage from a soap opera
lol'd at that goofy bastard running across the street and yelling "I can't swim!!"
Sandow's money. The video didn't show the part where he started crying, which was great.
If memory serves they've done the "toss item in the river" bit 4 times now:
Steve Austin throws the Rock's Intercontinental belt in the river... Rock throws Austin's smoking skull belt in the river, Punk throws Chavo in the river... Rhodes throws the MITB case into the river...
Good to see the "creative" team are doing their jobs :-)
Is anyone interested in watching all 4 clips to see if they used the same location twice?
I remember Rock knocking Austin off a bridge into a river (if that counts) And Austin throwing Angle's gold medals into a river, too.
So that's 6 different angles they've run with "throw shit in the river"...
The creative team is anything but.... although if memory serves the Austin/Rock exchanges came in the same feud.... still that's 3 other times they've used the same idea!
Just poor form... instead of throwing it in the river why not just have Rhodes steal the case? Then he can taunt Sandow with the "I'm smarter than you, I stole your case" line...
Rhodes would bring the case out every time he wrestles... and would have to be on guard in case Sandow came out to steal it back... you can have Rhodes constantly paranoid/distracted by the threat of Sandow rushing the ring to get his case back.. have Sandow play the smart heel coming up with different ways to get his case back...
Now, if you want Rhodes to go over Sandow you have to position him as being smarter.... but you can't get the fans behind him if he constantly keeps Sandow at bay. Sandow has to get the case back... the question is: how?
Have Sandow hire different wrestlers (lower card guys) and have Rhodes beat them.... then Sandow hires some big gun who "earns" the case back... Sandow then demands the case... the big gun refuses to give it up... Sandow, Rhodes and this big gun battle over the case... Rhodes wins the day
Advantages to doing it this way:
1 - Rhodes and Sandow are viewed as mid-card fodder right now... getting them into a 3 month feud with a big gun pushes them up the ladder a bit
2 - Rhodes out-smarts the smart heel... he's not a fool...and fans should expect him to be smart since his Dad is a fucking legend and Cody has "grown up" in the business
3 - Sandow comes off as the smart but whiny heel that couldn't get the job done on his own... which is essentially what all heels are like
Fuck this shit is easy... and I didn't even throw something in a river!
