A friend of mine owns a TC1100 and swears by it. I've used it casually, and it seems decent as tablets go. You have to be careful with the screen, and it has a short battery life. It's more a specialized laptop than an appliance, and actually has an attachable laptop keyboard (though my friend uses a wireless keyboard/mouse for it). I'd bet that the price in 2003 was a good deal more than 500 bucks.
Toyota's chief should be committing ritual suicide right about now.

Burning DL DVDs at 8x is sweet. Goodbye 45 minutes, hello 11 minutes.
Tried to press 077 for AMC ("Silverado")... pressed 777 instead ("M.I.L.F. Cruiser 2")

Watching some random latenight movie called "Troll". It's terrible but great in a 3 am sort of way. Anyways, it's from the mid-80s or so and features a young wizard type named Harry Potter. Uhhh....WTF???
We had an earthquake here in northern Illinois last night. Not strong, but enough to wake me up and it sounded like a train was going by the house for 5-10 seconds.
We also had a quake about a year and a half ago. Weirdness. Northern IL: the next seismic hot spot lol.
Watching the show "Man Made" on NatGeo about the Bugatti Veyron.
WOW!!!
The Veyron's tires will last 6000 miles, at to replace all four will cost $17,000.
Kwame Brown officially wants one.
Laced up the hockey skates for the first time in almost 20 years this weekend. Didn't fare too badly (for a Dad guy).
