Love the arm sleeve!
These fools like mibuzzboard don’t understand what that Nike swoosh means to the ballers these days.
Loved the Stackhouse/Theo Ratliff era!
Pistons hire Sachin Gupta as assistant general manager

Earlier in his career, Gupta worked for two years at ESPN and helped build the popular “NBA Trade Machine” feature, with his familiarity with the NBA salary cap.

When Jerebko was drafted, Michael fucking Curry was the coach. He was fired several days later, but that's the sixth coach.Quote:
Jerebko played under so many coaches in 5½ seasons that he got the number of head coaches wrong.
“There was no direction,” Jerebko said. “What was there? Six different coaches, every year there was a new coach. You can’t do that. You can do that to whoever was coaching, and you can’t do it to the players. You got to have consistency."
Jerebko's head coaches during his Detroit-Dumars tenure: John Kuester, Lawrence Frank, Mo Cheeks, John Loyer and Stan Van Gundy.
Do your homework, Vince Ellis. Sheesh.
If the season ended today, we'd be in the playoffs.
The Nuggets have like 5 solid rotation guards, we really should have gone after one of them.
Ben didn’t make the HOF
Some of my sources are telling me that we're going to be pursuing Derrick Rose.
We lost Sachin Gupta, you guys.
aka the guy that invented ESPN’s Trade Machine, our former head of analytics
twerk party!
Cut to Andre crying at home alone because he didn't get invited.
Warning: Depressing

Shaq still hasn't figured out that the Pistons wanted everyone to pass the ball to him in the 2004 Finals.
He'd have assuredly fouled out and we would've gotten more Slava. :)
Blake Griffin is stealing Canadian jobs.
We’re working out Joe Johnson
Why?

Pistons in good health
Casey reported the roster is relatively healthy — although there are things to monitor.
Griffin had left knee surgery shortly after the season. He’s not as healthy as he was at this time last year before he performed the best statistical season of his career, but he is cleared to stop using crutches.
Kennard was bothered by a sore foot toward the end of last season and Casey said the organization managed his workload in the offseason, resulting in his permanent benching.
Jackson had a toenail removed recently, but Casey called it life-threatening.

So when Wallace saw Artest suddenly get up after lying on his back on the scorer’s table, he thought Artest was crazy enough to make his way through the media and press row for a piece of him.
“I got ready [to fight],” Wallace told Yahoo Sports. “And then I saw him veer into the stands and I was like, ‘Oh, this isn’t good.’”
I wondered how Blake's $100k donation and the Pistons' saying they'd pay for coronavirus-delayed games would mesh:

The Pistons organization said through a spokesman on Thursday that all Pistons employees, including hourly and part-time staff who support gameday activities at LCA, would be paid during the league's hiatus.
The organization is also reaching out to other companies that employ staff at the arena, and are hopeful of providing financial assistance to them as well. Griffin's donation would presumably assist those workers.
Only Tayshaun Prince can blossom®, right?

Love how it makes it sound like he died.
Rip Hamilton makes DWade's list of toughest people to defend:
https://heatnation.com/media/dwyane-...rd-his-career/
The thing I remember most about Rip and DWade was the other way around. Rip was doing awesome defense against him in 2006 playoffs, but DWade made circus shot after circus shot. I felt bad for Rip, because he'd finally made it as a defender, and still got fried.
