Yeah, guy is pissing me off tonight.
-
48-38 at halftime.
Huge surprise, we cant score. Again.
Cant take care of the ball. Again.
Cant close out the last 2 minutes. Again.
Zero floor leadership. Again.
No offensive balance. Again.
I love the hard work they put in on defense, but each and every night that great effort is totally going to waste.
-
Our terrible offense will not allow us to get back in this game.
We've defended Portland better than anybody could have imagined in this quarter, and we're down more than we were at halftime.
Same old story. Jerebko is left wide open, and his man traps whatever Piston has the ball.
-
This is just awful to watch.
-
To be clear, we could have the best PG in the league running the offense right now, and we would only have 2-3 more baskets than we do now.
When you only have 3 guys on the floor that can make a shot, eventually the other team will clamp down on you.
This is what's happening to us for the 3rd straight game.
Jerebko either needs to start making shots or he cant start anymore. His defense is secondary at this point. We cant have two defensive specialists on the floor that cant shoot.
It's also killing our defense, because we're being forced into terrible shots that are being funneled into fast break dunks.
-
Kwame of all people is the guy to net us a shot.
-
For the first time, I'm seeing a lack of effort on defense, and it's understandable.
When you play as hard as they are defensively and you arent seeing any results, its very mentally draining.
-
it was a 6-point game 7 minutes ago. It's 20 now.
50 points in 3 quarters isnt going to get it done. We need some offense.
-
I'll say this: at least Summers is aggressive with the ball. Both Daye and Jerebko look scared as shit to even handle it.
-
I wouldnt be opposed to starting Summers and bringing Jerebko off the bench early. Just start the game with 4 guys that can hit an open shot, please.
