Be nice if we could win all 3, especially without Rip and Tay.
His wife had no clue he was gay.
I have no idea what the 2 above posts mean
I think Gla wanted to rip on you for stating the obvious. That was my take at least.
But he's too cowardly to rip me.
So that couldn't be it
My post is a pun on a guy spending his life staring at wood.
Just posting "captain obvious" just isn't very fun.
Glan wasn't hugged enough as a child, and he's still lashing out in anger.
Atti , I'm all about the fun. 99% of the shit I'm slinging is intended to make myself or others laugh. I think you may be overanalyzing things a bit, no offense.
There was zero anger in that post, only good humor, love and brotherhood.
No offense taken. I'm trying to rock your boat back a little bit. I'm just not as skilled in that department as you are.Quote:

I was actually thinking of starting an Atticus vs. WTFchris terrordome thread the other day, but I decided that the two of you politely discussing your GPAs and new friendship techniques wouldn't make for the best reading.
That would be awesome. I don't know if I've ever had a post in the terrordome before.Quote:

Everyone's a nice guy when they go up against Glan.
Hi
yo sup
Jerebko and Daye are getting better by the game.
It's becoming easy to forget we're missing both our starting wings.
Pistons fans...on your feet...and get ready to meet...and give a warm Palace welcome home to the ballah...from Shaw university...
FLIPITY FLIP MUUURRRAYY
Haywoode Workman seems to hate us. I think he's whistled every call against us so far.
I love when Dukies get rejected like that.
I don't know how Charlie was able to hit that.
LMAO Bynum just crushed one in Chandler's face!
Yeah, that was awesome.
I'm loving Charlie V more by the game.
STOMP.
No way last year's team would've been leading this game by almost 30 heading into the 4th.
And Charlie V makes shots I could never dream of making.
Will with another dunk. Dude's got hops.
WOW! Our starters were all +21 or more!
Looks like Super Nova, BG and Stuckey really did a good job. I guess everyone did a good job looking at the stats but according to the boxscore those 3 took over.
I have to say, this team looks promising. Playing without 2 starters too. I know it's not going to be a "special" year or anything, but compared to last year I'm pretty sure I'll at least enjoy watching this team. Hard work and defense is what built this team a few years back, and I think they've found that again.
I can't believe I'm typing this, but I hope that Rip and Tay don't come back. This team is coming together nicely without them. Rip isn't going to do anything but take Bynum's minutes, and Bynum's doing more in this minutes then I'd ever think Rip would. Tay would've covered a couple rookie plays from Daye, but I'm not picky enough to care.
When/if Tay and Rip do come back I'm expecting a drop in play.
That was a bad Bobcats team guys. Let's play an average Wiz club and a good Dallas team and take a more complete look.
I'm just happy the effort, energy and fucking pride is back.
It's really early but BG and Nova look like are worth almost every penny we spent on them and Stuckey seems to have improved a bit, too.
Credit to Kstat for claiming Ben Wallace would be good in a major role and credit to our scouts for Jonas "The Walls of" Jerebko. JJ has stepped in and done a remarkable job.
It does look like we've got a nice future - we just to get that one C to compliment the young guys and I'll sit back and enjoy the long ride.
Tay, Rip and Kwame for ...?
What big could we get considering Tay's soon to be expiring contract, Kwame's current expiring and Rip's (proven) 20ppg?
I'm not getting too excited about this win or this team, but I'm actually happy to watch a Pistons game this year. I remember taking flack for saying I don't even want to watch the Pistons last year. Last year's team had talent but just didn't give a shit. The team quit on Curry by December. They didn't care, didn't hustle, didn't play. I said last year I would rather have a last place team that played their asses off than have that team.
And I got my wish. They aren't a last place team, but they work their asses off. They might be down by 20, but they're still diving for loose balls and trying to take charges. They play to the buzzer. I love watching the rookies hustle. I love watching Bynum, Stuckey and Gordon work together. And I really love watching Big Ben do something I haven't seen in 3 years - work his ass off for a rebound and take pride in it.
I don't think this team is capable of doing much more than a first round loss. But they are fun as hell to watch and I applaud Coach Q for that.
As I predicted in the predictions thread, Jerebko is my Piston.
Even then we still won't get any real answers until our west coast trip.Quote:

What i am sold on is Kuester's coaching.
That's 25 million in salary.Quote:

Dude, I'm not trying to throw Rip away here.
I'm looking at how these guys are playing (the results are secondary) and wondering what we could become long-term.
Don't get me wrong - the present could be pretty fucking good too.
I love having Tay and Rip on the team. With Big Ben, Nova, Stuckey, BG, Bynum and Jerebko you have a quality 8 man rotation.
And when I see that I wonder how the fuck we can get that 9th Man to really give us a lift.
It's not rocket science. You can package whatever is left for a player you think can help or you can sit back and wait until the off-season.
Me? I wanna go get that 9th Man now and hope come playoff time we're really cooking.
