I am too lazy to find and top the ask Kstat thread.
Also, I don't want you to think we have bonded enough to exchange private messages.
You seem to be of the opinion that Detroit should "run"
How well does that usually translate to the playoffs?

run = fun
current team and style = going nowhere
playoff chances beating either Boston or Cleveland are close to zero, it doesn't matter which style we play....
I think running is an option only because we don't have the ability to run a decent half court offense without a PG that knows how to set up his teammates properly.
I think Stuckey could run the "run and gun" offense, but I don't think we have a coach that could teach the rest of the players how to do it.
Plus I hate that offense. I would rather see a 70-68 game than a 145-143 game.
Agreed. Running is a much easier thing to do than operating a effective half court offense (pick and rolls, hitting your man coming off screens at the right time, etc.).Quote:

Not to say that running as part of your offense is bad, but relying on a free wheeling, non-structured system hasn't worked for a reason.
Doesn't matter. K doesn't think they're going to make the playoffs.
Winning with the style isn't impossible. It's just harder than winning with defense.
NOT ONE OF YOU IS KSTAT
