I was sweating my picks this week. I am in two survival leagues and I took Denver and Detroit (both won in OT).

So what do we do for the rest of the year when the survival league finishes in week 4? Start a new one?

Don't know. In my work one it's down to me and 1 other worker already. I've been picking different teams in both leagues to make sure I don't get eliminated in both by the same team.

we're doing a loser survivor pool at my work and 41 of 46 made it through the first two weeks. im sitting especially pretty having used chicago and san diego in week 1 and 2, respectively.

Well you have to take my word on it but I earned an additional 76 points. I did pick points well before halftime of the first games and I didn't look at the scores. At least I got the picks in so you know I got most of the games right. The three games I got wrong were KC for 10 points, Detroit for 1, and Green Bay for 4. The reason I didn't put points on the games is after I picked winners and put my usual top point value on the Cowboys we got a phone call about a death in the family. Oh well.

Yeah, I have 130 of my 131 points wagered this week. If the Saint win I will only miss 1 point on the week. However, if the Falcons win I keep my 1 point lead on Wil.

What sucks about Thursday games too is you don't hear much about injuries that affect Sunday games. I just heard that Lewis, Heap, and Rolle are out for Baltimore. I picked Bal just for the hell of it but I wouldn't have even done that knowing those guys are out.
