View Full Version : OGT: Lions/Bengals, preseason game 1 Glenn 08-09-2007, 01:18 PM Somebody had to do it. :cornbread: Jethro34 08-09-2007, 02:31 PM 10-15 snaps for Kitna, then O'Sullivan takes over and plays until late third or early fourth, when DanO comes in to finish. Allegedly CJ runs with the 2nd offense and gets a lot more reps than first team guys. Kinda cool as long as he's fine after the game. Not sure where and when I'll be able to catch the game from Saginaw. Fool 08-09-2007, 03:02 PM Time? I thought I heard that it was being tape delayed to start at 9 (Kickoff at 9:30) Glenn 08-09-2007, 03:04 PM I left the time off on purpose for that reason, lol I think actual kick off is 7:30 pm. I'm pretty sure I'll get the game live here in GR, which just means that I'll be laughing and shaking my head about 2 hours before the rest of you. WTFchris 08-09-2007, 04:01 PM no spoilers! Yeah, I heard tape delay too. I heard midnight though. I hope the 9:00 is correct. MoTown 08-09-2007, 04:41 PM 105-87 Lions. Mike Furrey goes off for 437 receiving yards, 32 receptions. b-diddy 08-09-2007, 05:48 PM im penciling in 4 td's for calvin. Glenn 08-09-2007, 07:51 PM *SPOILER* DO NOT MISS THE FIRST 10 MINUTES OF THIS GAME *okay, this was a bogus spoiler* Timone 08-09-2007, 08:50 PM CALVIN!!! MoTown 08-09-2007, 11:01 PM *SPOILER* DO NOT MISS THE FIRST 10 MINUTES OF THIS GAME *okay, this was a bogus spoiler* What did I miss? Timone 08-09-2007, 11:56 PM I can't believe none of you guys just checked the GameCenter on nfl.com. Soon his face will be more recognizable than Tiger Woods. Glenn 08-10-2007, 08:08 AM And JT O'Sullivan is the next Joe Montana, right Frank Beckmann? b-diddy 08-10-2007, 08:40 AM just 2 passes thrown to cj? whats up with that?!? give him the damn ball! Glenn 08-10-2007, 08:47 AM This was probably my favorite moment from last night... http://assets.bengals.com/assets/default/week2-9.jpg Bengals +1.5!! Glenn 08-10-2007, 08:50 AM I also loved the balanced attack. Lions yardage Passing - 489 Rushing - 59 The Bellamy TD catch was pretty sweet, though. WTFchris 08-10-2007, 09:26 AM Our starting defense is terrible. Granted, we didn't have Rogers or White, but still. Black Dynamite 08-12-2007, 12:31 AM Our starting defense is terrible. Granted, we didn't have Rogers or White, but still. Well honestly Rogers is your MVP imo. I dont believe the middle is worth a shyt w/o him. Jethro34 08-12-2007, 10:00 PM Yeah, you miss a pro bowl DT and our top free agent acquisition and it will impact the play of the defense. At least they kept the Bengals out of the endzone. WTFchris 08-13-2007, 09:39 AM Well honestly Rogers is your MVP imo. I dont believe the middle is worth a shyt w/o him. And he hasn't stayed healthy in how long? That's the point. If he's in there and playing hungry I really like our DL. If he misses a lot of time there is a huge drop off to Cody. Jethro34 08-13-2007, 09:47 AM That's it. Get Warren Sapp in here. Glenn 08-13-2007, 09:54 AM The Colts want Sapp. Wizzle 08-13-2007, 02:52 PM The line while we were in Vegas was Lions -3 for this game. Apparently they are eating the bread too. And as we all were scratching our heads on how you even come up with a preseason line, we put our money down on the Honolulu Blue......damn you Vegas and your glitzy lights. |
