Unbelievably, we're in Chicago again on a Thurday night before I have a scheduled concert performance. Screw you, Stern!

Please explain why that's a bad thing. Also, what do you play/perform?

Oops, my bad. It's bad because I will undoubtedly have a dress rehearsal that evening. The rehearsal will be done at 6PM, and the game starts at 7PM central time, which would only leave 45 minutes-ish to get down to the game (I reside in a Chicago suburb during the school year). I'm just bummed because this same thing has happened the last three years in a row.

I play trombone in a symphonic band, symphony orchestra, and a jazz ensemble. The night of the game happens to be a dress rehearsal for the symphonic band, and the conductor absolutely refuses to allow anyone to miss even a portion of dress rehearsals.

Anyway, I'm hoping to get to the Saturday game in January instead.

24 of their games are on National TV (%30). That is good news for someone moving to Denver in October.

Don't nuthin' include WTFchris for the other 70% of the games.

Well, since neither of the Denver games are national TV, I can add 2 more games into my viewing package.

%32!

I can't wait to tell my wife the good news. She'll be thrilled.

Yeah, I can just see her response "Chris, this is FANTASTIC news. I am so glad that we can watch 32% of the Pistons games after we move. Now how 'bout some sweet lovin' to celebrate!"

Pretty sure the conversation will NOT go that way.

Chris, I suggest purchasing a SlingBox and hooking it up at a buddy's house in Michigan. Then you can stream all the games on a 5-second or so delay, and avoid having to pay the huge fee for League Pass. It sounds gimmicky, but it works well.

It certainly will not.

I probably only watched about %40 of the Pistons games last year anyway, it's not like you have a ton of time to just sit on the couch when you are a married home owner.

what, like you have more important things to do than watch 82 games of basketball?

I tried to hook P up with that last year only using Orb and not Slingbox. Never worked but that was because of connection issues more than anything else. Watched a couple Team USA games at work off my comp at home through Orb. They were definitely watchable quality.

Haven't seen P in a while btw.

Fool, what exactly is Orb? I'm not familiar with it.

i see no reason why we can't win all our games. i could see us maybe losing 1 or 2 at the end while we rest our starters for the playoffs. but other than that, i think an undefeated season is well within our reach.

but given that flip is our coach, i'll allow for a 25-30 game margin of error in my prediction.

What happened to the matinee game on MLK Jr. Day???
