Delfino aspires to the consecration

After three seasons without brightness with the Detroit Pistons, the santafesino puts all its cards to Toronto Raptors, its new equipment. With a game style that can favor it. Carlos Delfino arrived deluded from Italy. Detroit had chosen it in first round of draft and trusted its potential. But nor Larry technicians Brown and Flip awaited Saunders gave chances him (in three seasons he divided equally 4,1 points, 40 percents of field and 2,3 bounces in 13.3 minutes). The promises of Joe Dumars, the director, were not fulfilled either top, not even after great the World-wide one of Carlitos. Feeling very covered by Rip Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince, and within a style of game that did not go with its characteristics, the agents of the santafesino requested the exchange.

- You are contented with the crossing, Carlitos? -

Very happy. Toronto is not an equipment with history but a pretty establishment is forming and a style faster gambles than it favors to me. In Detroit it was all parked attack, more five against five, and I waiting for a unloading in a flank... It could not generate nothing. It was a hard experience but that served to me.

- you were yourself bad? -

No, I was myself well, without dramas with anybody. It was necessary to change of air, nothing else.

- the sensation Gives of which the Raptors has a agreed style to your game, European... -

So as as you say. There are two Spaniards (Garbajosa and Calderón), two Slovenes (Nesterovic and Slokar), an Italian (Bargnani), Anthony Parker played much in Europe, chose a Croatian (Ukic) and to Greek (Printezis) in draft and a vice-president it is Maurizio Gherardini. They look for a European style.

- and how you see it? -

it will not be easy, but I see more chances play. Me the game, is my last letter to see if I can finally accommodate to me in the NBA and if I give the quality jump.

Thank you, BabelFish, for that very accurate translation.

I'm cool with unloading in the flank but Kobe prefers to unload in a chick's grill.

This explains everything. I encourage you to re-read this statement for the true reason Delfino never lived up to his potential in Detroit.

Hmmm...

"Toronto is not an equipment with history but a pretty establishment is forming and a style faster gambles than it favors to me."

Just what I want my franchise associated with: Pretty.

I'm cool with unloading in the flank but Kobe prefers to unload in a chick's booty by surprise.

He asked her if he could unload on her face. She said no.

Yeah, taking it on the face would've damaged her character imo.

Here's a different but similar version from the FIBA site:

ARG - Delfino in last-chance saloon

BAHIA BLANCA (FIBA Americas Championship) - Carlos Delfino has expressed delight with his new opportunity at Toronto Raptors, but admits it will be his last chance to establish himself in the NBA.

Delfino is one of just two US-based players who have accepted to play for Argentina at the FIBA Americas Championship, alongside Houston Rockets' new arrival Luis Scola.

And the 24-year-old shooting guard, who is currently training with his national team ahead of the pre-Olympic tournament, revealed he is looking forward to playing for a side that suits his style of play.

"I'm very happy," Delfino told Ole newspaper. "Toronto is not a team with a long history, but they are a nice squad who play with a faster style, something that helps me.

"In Detroit it was different. It was a five-to-five attack and I was not able to generate anything. It was a hard experience, but useful.

"I needed new a environment and wasn't able to get used to them. The way Detroit play didn't help me.

"It won't be easy at Toronto, but I think I will have more chances to play. This is my last card to see if I can finally settle down in the NBA."

i've often said i'd watch our equipment more if our styles faster gambles and less of a parked attack.

I hope that he can consecrate before he gets to the last chance saloon. It would be a shame to die before screwing his wife.
