Just wanted to take a minute to salute Tahoe for the way that he handles himself in this forum (no, not literally).

For some reason or another, we don't seem to have too many posters that present conservative viewpoints on these issues. We've had a few try, and even had one good poster leave for good because of it (or mostly because of it), but by and large, these days it's mostly Tahoe vs. everybody else.

So thank you, Tahoe, for making good points (sometimes) and recognizing when others make them as well.

What does being a conservative mean to you?

I think that the Republicans have damaged the word "conservative" as surely as they've damaged the word "liberal".

I'm not too terribly comfortable with those labels. I think of you as a Tahoe more than a conservlican.

Less taxes, strong military, smaller Gov't. Bush failed on 1 for sure and prolly 2 of 3.
