Day game on Thursday.

Robertson vs Byrd tonight.

Lets hope Robby's stint in the minors helped him.

Tahoe
07-03-2007, 07:12 PM
Great ... Runners at 1st and 3rd, no outs for Cleveland in the top of the 1st.

Timone
07-03-2007, 08:53 PM
4-3 Detroit, now it's time for Cleveland to take the lead back...

Tahoe
07-03-2007, 08:56 PM
Well.........a double to start it off. This is going to be a fun 3 games I suspect.

Shef was safe at the plate in my unbiased opinion.

darkobetterthanmelo
07-03-2007, 09:10 PM
Sheff was safe

Timone
07-03-2007, 09:24 PM
They're just jealous because Sheff was in GQ.

Timone
07-03-2007, 09:25 PM
I can't believe I'm actually happy to see Durbin nowadays.

Open mouth, insert foot, fuck this Indians faggot.

Tahoe
07-03-2007, 09:29 PM
That really sucked.

4-4

Timone
07-03-2007, 09:42 PM
Put in Thames in the 9th!

Timone
07-03-2007, 09:45 PM
Lol wtf? This is the strangest half inning in a while.

DrRay11
07-03-2007, 09:49 PM
It should be 5-4 easily (Sheffield).

Tahoe
07-03-2007, 10:04 PM
Damn, thought Casey dropped one in.

Timone
07-03-2007, 10:05 PM
Let's see if C-Mo can go back to not being Craig Monroe again.

...Nope.

Tahoe
07-03-2007, 10:05 PM
Well it looks like our pen is going to have to survive extra innings.

DrRay11
07-03-2007, 10:09 PM
Oh God... I wonder who they're bringing in now.

Could it be TJ the great?

DrRay11
07-03-2007, 10:12 PM
Capellan.

Tahoe
07-03-2007, 10:12 PM
He's Ks his first batter.

DrRay11
07-03-2007, 10:16 PM
And K's his next.

DrRay11
07-03-2007, 10:19 PM
And a pop-up for a successful Capellan debut (so far).

Timone
07-03-2007, 10:23 PM
Sheffield will hit the walk off.

Tahoe
07-03-2007, 10:24 PM
Props to Cap

And what a swat by Grandy but caught.

DrRay11
07-03-2007, 10:27 PM
Let's do this, Maggs.

DrRay11
07-03-2007, 10:28 PM
Winning run at 3rd!

Tahoe
07-03-2007, 10:28 PM
I hate to get my hopes up but this is looking good. PP on 3rd, 1 down.

DrRay11
07-03-2007, 10:29 PM
This walk will bring up Guillen with the bases juiced in order to attempt at the double play ball.

How many times has Guillen been up with the bases loaded lately? Someone get this man a granny!

DrRay11
07-03-2007, 10:31 PM
Damn it, Carlos. GO PUDGE!

DrRay11
07-03-2007, 10:37 PM

Jethro34
07-03-2007, 10:40 PM
How do you hit a freaking pop up in that situation?

Timone
07-03-2007, 10:41 PM
Damn, I like this dude Cappellan.

DrRay11
07-03-2007, 10:42 PM
Fuck you, timbeau.

Regardless, we got fucked over and should have won a while ago, 5-4.

Jethro34
07-03-2007, 10:43 PM
You've got to be kidding me.

Timone
07-03-2007, 10:43 PM
Wow, do I have bad luck tonight or what?

DrRay11
07-03-2007, 10:44 PM
Casey, Monroe (a sure out) and Inge coming up. Not sure I like our chances.

Timone
07-03-2007, 10:45 PM
Fuck you, timbeau.

Regardless, we got fucked over and should have won a while ago, 5-4.

Don't blame me, if Bubbles hadn't jinxed Pudge on AIM this wouldn't have happened.

Tahoe
07-03-2007, 10:46 PM
Our friggin pen. We make these small trades but we need to sacrifice some of our offense for someone GOOD for our pen.

Cap and McBride are good to have but we need a proven guy coming in late.

DrRay11
07-03-2007, 10:47 PM
I know you're Casey Blake undercover. bastard used your iPhone to post right after you hit your stupid home run. shithead. eat shit, bastard.

Tahoe
07-03-2007, 10:47 PM
Where is Bubs at?

DrRay11
07-03-2007, 10:48 PM
Casey down. Monroe will pop up, ground out, or strike out.

Timone
07-03-2007, 10:49 PM
Getting the shit kicked out of him by me.

and e-ray, I may be Casey Blake undercover but it beats being with George Michael under the covers.

DrRay11
07-03-2007, 10:49 PM
On cue, Monroe sucks some serious dick (perhaps of George Michael). Brandon Inge...

Timone
07-03-2007, 10:50 PM
Thanks a lot CumBubbles. Fucking prick.

DrRay11
07-03-2007, 10:51 PM
Damnit, fuck, curse word, etc.

Now, even if we win the next two (not bloody likely), we'll still be back 1.

Jethro34
07-03-2007, 10:51 PM
Yep, that pretty much sums up our season so far. Good, but not good enough. Missing some clutch opportunities, and the bullpen (doesn't matter who) throwing it all away.

micknugget
07-03-2007, 10:52 PM
Why exactly is Monroe still in the line-up? He's barely hitting over .200 and we have Thames and a couple of solid minor leaguers (Cleveland) that couldn't do much worse.

darkobetterthanmelo
07-03-2007, 10:54 PM
Like I have been saying all year, play Marcus Thames.

Tahoe
07-03-2007, 11:30 PM
Saying Thames should be playing is really getting old, isn't it.

Timone
07-04-2007, 03:39 AM
Good game, both teams played hard.

Timone
07-04-2007, 08:41 PM
The Tigers need to sign their Declaration of Independence from Jason Grilli. And we can celebrate THAT 300 years from now.

Glenn
07-05-2007, 05:11 AM
Where is Bubs at?

He should be here more, that guy is hilarious.

Timone
07-05-2007, 05:46 AM
I talk to him on AIM. He sure is a real riot when I kick his ass in NBA 2K7.

Props to Pudge for starting a day game after a night game, something most catchers (especially 15+ year vets) don't/won't do.

Tahoe
07-05-2007, 01:02 PM
Pudge is not human.

I just went looking to wager some alpacas but couldnt' find todays game.

And maybe its a good thing I didn't find it. Martinez just went yard.

1-0 Cleveland

Tahoe
07-05-2007, 01:10 PM
PP with a solo shot to tie it up.

I missed yesterdays game but sounds like the calls for Thames to play were heard. And it looks like Thames had a good game.

Glenn
07-05-2007, 01:23 PM
Another error for Guillen, and then a wild pitch gives them a run.

Fuck!

Tahoe
07-05-2007, 01:49 PM
And we come back and tie it up.

Mario and Rod are saying, we're getting a real rivalry going on here. These teams don't like each other.

Tahoe
07-05-2007, 01:55 PM
CG with a 3 run dinger to go ahead 5-2.

Glenn

CG with a 3 run dinger to go ahead 5-2.

We have two of those CG guys, lol

Guillen, that is.

Tahoe
07-05-2007, 02:15 PM
SHEF! with a 2 run shot to make it 7-2.

Enough with the homers, as I'm running out of adjectives for them.

Glenn
07-05-2007, 02:17 PM
CC is getting pummelled.

Love it.

Sideways hat wearing motherfucker

Darth Thanatos
07-05-2007, 02:20 PM
Sheff will definitely hit 500 this year.

Tahoe
07-05-2007, 02:21 PM
Sideways hat wearing motherfucker

When i was a youngster you didn't caught dead wearing your hat like that. Nowadays you're cool.

Tahoe

JV at about 70 so far.

DrRay11
07-05-2007, 02:31 PM
Hopefully Leyland starts CC in the All-Star game... Every little bit of extra fatigue helps, lol.

Fuck a Victor Martinez. We're going to have to get someone up in the pen soon... (shudders)

Tahoe
07-05-2007, 02:55 PM
Thats it JV hurt them a lil too.

Looks like a good crowd for a day game. I was thinking most took Mon and Tues off but maybe its a Wed Thur Fri deal.

OT-I was talking to my cuz in Bay City and he worked July 4th and got triple time. Sweet!

Tahoe
07-05-2007, 02:59 PM
I was just going to say what Rod said, Sizemore doesn't look comfortable in spacious COPA center. I think thats 2 that he sort of misplayed. 1 for an error. Thats a good thing for head to heads here.

Tahoe
07-05-2007, 03:05 PM
This lead is starting to feel comfortable for our pen. I'd like a couple more though.

Glenn
07-05-2007, 03:21 PM
Pitch count getting up there and it's a blowout, get him out of there?

Tahoe
07-05-2007, 03:22 PM
JV at 108, if JL pulls JV then give Pudge a rest too insert Rabelo. Mags has been pulled.

Tahoe
07-05-2007, 03:23 PM

darkobetterthanmelo

Neifi sighting

Glenn
07-05-2007, 03:40 PM
Neifi sighting

This is the only situation when it is acceptable.

Glenn
07-05-2007, 03:50 PM
Just keep winning series and things will be fine.

Tahoe
07-05-2007, 03:56 PM
Wish we could have won that extra innings game and swept though.

Glenn
07-05-2007, 04:22 PM
I wonder if Leyland left Verlander a bit too long on purpose to provide himself with a reason to not start or pitch him much in the All Star game.

WTFchris
07-05-2007, 04:53 PM
I think he was saving the pen for the Sox series. He had to go to them early last night. I'm sure he'd like to go into the break winning another series to have some momentum coming out of the break. I don't think he needs excuses to choose someone else. Haren's numbers are good enough that he's a no brainer.

Tahoe
07-05-2007, 05:02 PM
And JL wanted this win. JL can say what he wants but I don't think he has a ton of confidence in the pen. That would have sucked to have blown that lead.

OT so the Bondy voting ended at 5pm EST(?) wonder if he made it.

Timone
07-05-2007, 11:34 PM
ABOUT TIME WE BLEW THESE FUCKS OUT.
