View Full Version : the hell you say? b-diddy 07-01-2007, 06:47 PM meat hooks an allstar? washington must really be void of talent. Tahoe 07-01-2007, 08:19 PM I think he can 'partially' thank his days in Detroit for part of that. I could be wrong on that but had some good days here and was our unofficial leader in the clubhouse at times, imo. Zekyl 07-01-2007, 09:31 PM Who are we talking about here? Tahoe 07-01-2007, 09:34 PM I'm thinking 'The Meat Tree' or Dmitri Young. At least that was my reply was to. Zekyl 07-01-2007, 10:55 PM Ahhhh, I now understand. He made the all-star team? Sad. Timone 07-02-2007, 12:00 AM Harold Reynolds gets fired from ESPN and Dmitri Young goes to an All Star Game? Bullshit! Sexual harassment my ass! Wilfredo Ledezma 07-02-2007, 07:29 AM Meat Hook won't even get an AB in the game...you gotta have at least one rep for the AS Team...Dmitri is probably the most qualified... He can write a book now How I Exercised My Demons and Got Back To Being An MLB All-Star FillyCheezeSteak 07-02-2007, 10:47 AM I think he was 3rd in batting average as of last week and Washington is easily the WORST team in baseball. Remember our good 'ole days of Bobby Fick being our lone all-star..........yuck!!! Jethro34 07-02-2007, 11:58 AM Randall Simon was our All-Star one year as well, that's before he beat the sausage. By the way, in Dmitri's defense - He's batting .340 while no other position player with enough AB's is hitting over .257. Chad Cordero is probably the next best player statistically and you probably can't justify sending someone with only 39 innings unless they're dominant, like an ERA well under 2.00 and probably at least 50 strikeouts. |
