I think he was 3rd in batting average as of last week and Washington is easily the WORST team in baseball. Remember our good 'ole days of Bobby Fick being our lone all-star..........yuck!!!

Randall Simon was our All-Star one year as well, that's before he beat the sausage.

By the way, in Dmitri's defense -
He's batting .340 while no other position player with enough AB's is hitting over .257.
Chad Cordero is probably the next best player statistically and you probably can't justify sending someone with only 39 innings unless they're dominant, like an ERA well under 2.00 and probably at least 50 strikeouts.
