I really don't have a problem with Jones at all. It's not his fault he has a shit arm at this point. The blame is on Dombrowski for not finding a better option this last offseason. Dave is great, but he botched that one. Even if you thought Joel was going to be healthy all year (fair assumption), you still need either a better closer or a better set up man (if Joel was the closer). Dave miscalculated and thought that Rodney had turned the corner last year. Last year was an exception to the rule for Rodney. I just can't blame Jones at all, he's trying his best. The best simply sucks many nights.

Look at the Lions. Do you blame Shaun Bryson for running all those shitty draw plays, or Mooch for calling them?

It's management's fault for counting on Jones to be a good closer on a world series team.
