Trying to figure out what Isiah is going to do in the draft is always maddening. He usually tries to go off the board to attempt to prove what a great evaluator of talent he is.

That said, there are multiple sources reporting that Wilson Chandler has a guarantee in place from Zeke, so if he keeps his word, that should be the pick here.

I'm not buying any guarentees. My pick is

Morris Almond

I really have no idea now that its getting to the back end of the draft. I don't really know a whole lot about the talent or team needs. It would seem like Isiah wouldn't want any more guards, unless its a true point guard. He's got about 6 of them on the roster already. He's also got two young bigs that are pretty good. Maybe he takes a guard and finally gets rid of Marbury and/or Francis. Maybe he trades one of his young bigs and drafts a replacement. He's got all the shooters in the world so I really don't know where he's going to go with this.

This might be useful for you if you are looking for some guidance as far as team needs go, but I certainly wouldn't consider it gospel: http://www.nbadraft.net/2007teamneeds001.asp

Chris and I came up with our own team needs that we used when creating the original WTF mock draft (to be updated later today). It took many hours.

So maybe this wasn't such a good idea.

I'm going to ride the Isiah Promise train and go with WIlson Chandler

It makes sense to me.

I can't kill this pick. I debated listening to the "promise" or going with the best available and chose the later. Doesn't mean Chandler won't happen though. Isiah did go against the grain with Balkman.

The Balkman pick is exactly why I don't doubt the Chandler pick.
