Seeing as its really unlikely we are going to rebuild any time soon, this gives us a dam good shot at a title.
Amir, McDyess, Nazr, 27 for Pierce
We lose some height, but gain exactly what we need. I see Boston doing this, as Ainge is an idiot, and Amir+Jefferson gives them a really young front court with tons of upside, not to mention McDyess as a vet presence.

I wish, Pierce is one of my favorite players...but a CELTIC IN A PISTONS UNIFORM? OMFG

Boston might consider a deal like that because they can replace PP with Horford, Brewer or Julian Wright anyway.
I don't think Amir has shown enough here though for them to be that high on him.

I'm agreeing with Chris on this. Everyone here is so high on Amir but he's yet to prove anything to us. He's shown that he's extremely athletic, but who knows what he'll eventually develop into.

How much less has Amir shown than a college freshman like Oden?
I'm not saying he's as good as Oden, but we've seen about the same amount of game action from him (if you could the NBDL/Pistons stints).

Yeah, but what I'm saying is he hasn't completely dominated in those games. I think he's going to be good, probably great, but I don't think he's that good yet. A lot of people make him out to be ready to go right now and I think he needs a season coming off the bench for 10-15 a game before we'll know for sure, just like a late-lotto rookie would.
