It's great that Sheff stepped up on the day that the hotter hitters on the team didn't.
And where exactly did the stolen bases come from? I guess that if you would have told me he had 220 some during his career I would have been shocked. He's been a mixed bag on the bases. 13 seasons with double digits steals, but 8 others in which he has already tied or surpassed his total. I wonder if he'll keep this up and have a new season best at the age of 38 (he would have to top 25 from when he was a skinny shortstop in Milwaukee).

Maybe this should be in the "Things I don't get" thread, but why are the chicks sweeping the D? We swept the Orioles, shouldn't that be an Oriole logo?

This comes up quite often. You can't find this sort of picture for all 31(?) other MLB teams. It just doesn't exist. So take it more figuratively then literally.

Maybe we can get Denny to give the chicks "english D" tatoos or something. Then it'll be Tiger fans sweeping away the filth off the Tigers logo. In that way, they aren't sweeping away the logo, but sweeping it clean, as in untouched, perfect, no loses.

Yeah, it would be a lot of work to make the floor logo for every team.

I look at it this way, a team is being swept and the Tigers are in the middle of it. Yeah, I know that's weak, but the chick with the trunk is a cult hero.
