mentioned near the bottom.
this is very good for salary cap purposes, bad for the team though. im a fan of his, and i think he's still got game left that we need.
this pretty much seals the deal, though, that drafting a pg is a priority in the draft, unless blaylock is killing way under the radar.

I think those speed pills were the only thing keeping his career alive. He seems lifeless now.

No surprise to me. With 2 first rounders and Billups having the option of leaving (though he won't), you have to think we'll get a PG somewhere in the draft. Plus we still have Blaylock too.

Krista's hubby addressed this report in the Freep yesterday.
Even though SI.com reported Monday that Pistons point guard Lindsey Hunter is expected to retire and move into the front office after this season, that might be premature. The Pistons' job offer is on the table for whenever Hunter hangs 'em up, and some get the feeling that he'll play one more season.

I just think Lindsey is a hell of a guy and he's been a hell of a player over the years. If he wants to go fishing that's fine with me. He's been a man in a boy's game for too long, it's time to see where his other talents can lead him.

I really feel that with Lindsey's relationship with the Pistons, it will be a matter of what we do with the draft and in the off-season. If we end up needing a PG then Lindsey will be back. If we address the need, he will have his cushy front office job.
