here's where I make a desperate attempt to win the contest by making a bet I wouldn't otherwise.

damn, that didn't pan out like I had hoped (not that I actually thought they'd win by 3 goals either). I got my hopes up too after a solid first period and a 1-0 lead.

Sorry for trying to "TPIR" you Chris, it was a sound strategy if the result had panned out.

If I hadn't lost the 1000+ alpacas the week before I wouldn't have had to make a deperation bet.
