As a guy, do any of you see a reason to get out of bed Saturday? It could be the greatest day in Detroit sports in a long time. Tigers at 1. Wings and Pistons playoff games at 3. The Lions screw things up with the draft starting at 11.

This should be considered a holiday. Gentlemen, my question to you is: Will your wives/girlfriends let you appreciate this day? Is there anything that could get in the way and ruin this day for you guys? What's your daily plan look like?

GREAT concept.
Here's my plan: I went out yesterday and bought a shovel, a small axe, some rolled up plastic, some rope, and a raincoat.
I then put this stuff on the kitchen table and told everyone in my family that if they so much as LOOK at me today (or tomorrow), our family would be the feature of a horrible episode on Dateline with Stone Phillips.
They know what I'm capable of: Last week I got rid of the two cats because one of them barfed on my couch, and the kids (of course) weren't cleaning the litter box. You know what they say, the first murder is the easiest.*
*I didn't murder the cats, I took them to the Humane Society, so they probably have already been gassed. But it still makes me look capable of anything crazy.
