WTF is Terrry Foster doing, making blog entries for every 5 minutes of the game? The blog is so difficult to read now. One game is like a dozen posts over several pages.

I think I might write in to complain....

To Whom it may concern,

I have been a fan of the Pistons Blog since its inception. The “behind the scenes” tidbits are very entertaining and a fun departure from “formal” articles.

However, I ask that Mr. Terry Foster’s Pistons playoff blog entries be consolidated to some extent. The stream of consciousness writing is very difficult to read. One playoff game (ex. Piston’s Game 2 vs the Magic) seemed to span nearly a dozen entries. There’s no reason that the blogs couldn’t be grouped into two entries (one for each half) or just one longer entry for the whole game. Also, with the navigational controls at the bottom of each page (“Next 10 blogs” button), if you spend too much time on one page reading, it will throw you back to page one.

Bill Simmons of ESPN has done similar articles, for example his 2007 NBA All-Star review, where “separate” blog entries were put in one article.

I enjoy the informal tone of the blogs, but the current format is messy and difficult to navigate. I am sending a copy of this email to several folks at Detnews, in hopes that someone will read it. Thanks for your time.

Pistons’ fan and Detnews reader,

Matthew

Live Glog Tonight

Tonight I will be your host here during the Pistons-Orlando Magic game.

Check in during commercials to get my thoughts on the game as it progresses in Orlando. I will be doing my glog live at Buffalo Wild Wings in downtown Dearborn and I will give fans a chance to share their views during the game.

I will be co-hosting a Pistons/Red Wings viewing party for the Sports Inferno where we will give away prizes, including T-shirts, sports photos and caps. I will also have a sign up sheet for people who want to be part of the live glog.

What's a glog? A game blog?

I'm guessing "Game log", but it could be either really.

Who reads that shit as opposed to just watching the game?

I hate the internet.

I wonder how :mccosky: feels about Foster horning in on his Pistons blog and screwing it all up now that the playoffs are here?

Apparently Foster was enjoying some Foster's during the game.
