I won't post my predictions, because they're always wrong and I'll end up jinxing the Tigers.

Vinny: Good predictions. You are going with the "sexy" pick: The Indians. But how can they be a "sleeper" if you pick them to win their division?
Here's a couple good sleeper teams from the American league: Toronto and *gulp* the Royals. The Royals have alot of good young arms, and you never know. Detroit, Minnesota, Chicago and Cleveland are going to spend the year beating the hell out of each other, and when the dust clears, it could be the *gulp* Royals left standing.
My picks:
AL East: Red Sox. They've got the Gyro Pitch Specialist and all of Japan rooting for them. The "fix" could be in! Yanks have NO NO NO pitching. Besides, I like saying "Red Sox" with a sideways lisp.
AL Central: Minnesota: I guess you can't put "ifs" in there, as in IF Liriano is healthy. But you can't knock their home field advantage. It's sickening.
I think the Tigers now have some expectations, and we'll see how they handle them. Can Rogers come back? If not, who can fill in?
AL West: This could be "One for the ages", as in the Stone Ages. One of the two worst and least interesting divisions in baseball. I'll go for the Rangers. Hard to not pick Oakland, they always seem to be able to get it done with smoke and mirrors, but I think the loss of Zito will hurt.
AL Wildcard: This is what makes the American League so tough. Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Toronto, and the *gulp* Royals in a veritable slugfest.
I'll go with Detroit. I think the Sheffield deal will help them just like Thome with the White Sox, and the Tigers should have enough pitching to get it done.
AL Champ: Detroit. Get there however you can, and in the series format the arms will pull them through.
NL East: New York Mets. No reason not to pick them.
NL Central:St Louis. Celebrating 100 years of Chicago Cubs futility (last World Series win was 1908) AND seeing my second favorite team take this division with 79 wins is going to be fun!
NL West: The Los Angeles Dodgers of Los Angeles. I'm not going to bite on the Diamondbacks.
NL Wildcard: Atlanta. I don't know why, but I feel they have one last run in them.
AL Champ: Detroit Tigers. Again, get there however you can, and those arms and Sheffield's bat should be enough.
NL Champ: New York Mets Last year was "practice". This year they get to the Series.
Wold Series Champs: New York Mets Gotta go with my head here, and I think the Mets will make noise at the trading deadline and get the right parts to win the World Series.

For those who are going to jump all over me for not picking a National League "sleeper", that's because the National League will suck so much this year we'll be the sleepers as the Mets have it wrapped up by July 4th, and they may be the only team besides Los Angeles over 500 when the season ends.
