I'm not sure your video of Giffman singing in the shower is appropriate BTW.

Best thread ever?

This is kind of what I had in mind:

Prong
Album: Cleansing (1994)
Track: Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck
Notes: Best part about this video is the flashing "tracking" graphic in the beginning (obviosuly taped from an old Headbanger's Ball episode). This song is best listened to at an above average volume level.

I'll keep this alive by myself if I have to, lol.

Goober & the Peas
Album: Complete Works (1992)
Track: Hot Women (Cold Beer)
Notes: Legendary Detroit cowpunk band that I used to enjoy immensely live at Rick's in East Lansing, Blind Pig in AA, and many other venues. Some of the best live shows I've ever seen. Former band members include The White Stripes' Jack White on drums (not in this video) and Dan "Goober" Miller who now fronts the band Blanche and also starred in the Johnny Cash biopic "Walk the Line" as Luther Perkins. These guys were part stand up comedians, part serious musicians and they had incredible stage presence. Used to do a great cover of LL Cool J's "Mama said knock you out".

I know Tap Tap the Chiseler was a fan too, but he's not around here anymore I guess. Well, anyways, enjoy.

I really used to hate dance music. And I guess I still do. But my buddy introduced me to a couple of bands out there that I really liked. Here are a couple I really like:

Boards of Canada: Dayvan Cowboy. This actually features footage of a jump performed by a U.S. military expert parachutist. In this film, he rides a weather balloon into the upper atmosphere, and then jumps off. He jumps off. He jumps right the fuck off.
lrBZeWjGjl8

Underworld: Born Slippy. This song is just probably the entire soundtrack to that whole rave/ecstacy/dancing phenomena that happened a while back.

In Season 3 episode 9 "My Dirty Secret (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Dirty_Secret)" from the television sitcom Scrubs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrubs_%28TV_series%29), the Janitor taunts a reluctantly celibate surgeon Turk by dancing to "We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off" while mopping a hallway in the hospital. Janitor describes the song as "Jermaine Stewart's ode to platonic love."
