View Full Version : Must-have Nintendo DS games? Matt 03-07-2007, 12:25 PM i finally ordered a nintendo ds lite from buy.com and i'm just waiting for it to be delivered. any must have games i should be looking at? can you download ROMs for the DS, like you could w/ the GBA? Matt 03-13-2007, 04:54 PM just got my DS Lite and picked up an M3 Simply rom flash card. this thing rocks...i've been filling up my 1GB microSD card with tons of games. diddy kong racing is fun as hell :D http://www.vgboxart.com/boxes/DS/2570.jpg Fool 03-15-2007, 10:15 AM That truama center game and the lawyer game look interesting to me. Moodini31 03-16-2007, 04:43 PM That truama center game and the lawyer game look interesting to me. Lawyer game? WTF! Fool 03-20-2007, 11:34 AM http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/925589.asp?q=Phoenix%20Wright%20Ace%20Attorney http://www.gamerankings.com/screens5/925589/1.jpg Glenn 03-20-2007, 11:38 AM Looks like an old friend. Well, not really. Glenn 06-03-2008, 08:26 AM My wife wants one of these Nintendo DS things to play "crosswords and brain teasers". Are there any basketball games that are decent? I need to figure out how I can benefit from this (besides her talking less whilst she's playing it). KP43 06-03-2008, 03:52 PM New Super Mario Bros....no excuse for not getting this game. Mario Kart....pretty much any mario game is deece(minus 3-on-3 Hoops, F that) Hotel Dusk....cool, different game. Pokemon....hey I played the old ones as a kid, still fin they enjoyable once and a while. Contra 4....sweet game if you liked the old ones, you unlock 1 & 2 as a bonus That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Glenn 06-30-2008, 08:46 AM I bought the wife the games that she asked for (Big Brain Academy and Brain Age) and she loves them. I played them for about 10 minutes but they bore me. I've browsed for sports games at the store a few times, but the selection looks pretty thin. Is there a reason why the games seem so, juvenile? Lots of games about pets, princesses, etc. Fool 06-30-2008, 10:07 AM Because adults are driving the car not playing their DS in the back seat. I played them for about 10 minutes but they bore me. I've browsed for sports games at the store a few times, but the selection looks pretty thin. Is there a reason why the games seem so, juvenile? Lots of games about pets, princesses, etc. Because it's a Nintendo DS. Everything Nintendo does is pretty "kiddy". Glenn 06-30-2008, 08:03 PM I've always thought that too, but others have tried to convince me otherwise. I'll go with your word, KP43. If you can't trust Kendrick Perkins when it comes to video games... Fool 07-01-2008, 08:58 AM Wow, I'm just noticing that added neck tat to Theo. Nice. |
