View Full Version : Dallas Mavericks... Can they reach 70? MikeMyers 03-07-2007, 09:56 AM They have a 51-9 record with 22 games remaining. Currently, they have won 16 games in a row and just clinched a playoff spot in the west. WTFchris 03-07-2007, 10:07 AM Here is the schedule remaining for them: Sun 11 at LA Lakers Mon 12 at Golden State Wed 14 Phoenix Fri 16 Boston Sun 18 at Detroit Tue 20 at New York Wed 21 at Cleveland Fri 23 at Boston Sun 25 at Atlanta Tue 27 at NO/Oklahoma City Wed 28 Milwaukee Fri 30 New York Sun 1 at Phoenix Tue 3 at Sacramento Fri 6 at Denver Sat 7 Portland Mon 9 LA Clippers Wed 11 at Minnesota Fri 13 Utah Sun 15 San Antonio Tue 17 at Golden State Wed 18 at Seattle WTFchris 03-07-2007, 10:12 AM 19-3 would be tough with that schedule. They have us, SA, Phoenix twice and Utah. Plus a couple playoff teams in there too (Lakers minus Odom, Cleveland, Clippers, Denver), and pesky GSW twice. I'm going to say no. put down 67 or 68 wins for me. MikeMyers 03-07-2007, 10:18 AM At the same point last year, we were 49-11. I don't think they will get 70 with that schedule either. Glenn 03-07-2007, 10:52 AM They've won 51 of their last 56. No team in any of the 4 major professional sports has ever won more games over a 56 game span. Ever. MikeMyers 03-07-2007, 11:07 AM Weren't the Bulls 72-10? MikeMyers 03-07-2007, 11:21 AM I guess you're right. The Bulls were 51-6. On the other hand, I think they are beatable. MikeMyers 03-13-2007, 11:12 AM 52-10 with 20 games to go. Pistons last year were 50-12. RegicideGreg 03-13-2007, 11:15 AM The answer is no because the is no officially a thread about it. Atticus771 03-15-2007, 10:56 AM Well, they probably can't reach 70 anymore. micknugget 03-15-2007, 12:36 PM I'm thinking that it's pretty rare for a team (Dallas) to lose after out rebounding their opponent by 17!!!!! They also looked shakey come clutch time. I'm thinking that they end up with 65 wins. Glenn 03-15-2007, 12:37 PM Is it me or did Nash win the MVP last night? He scored 10 points in the final 50 seconds to send the game to OT? Sick. MikeMyers 03-15-2007, 12:53 PM The Mavs look like we did last March. Fool 03-15-2007, 01:03 PM Terry scored 5 in the last 5 seconds to send it to double overtime. Darth Thanatos 03-15-2007, 05:39 PM And Dirk has beat Nash two of three times. |
