Sheed gets X-rayed
My colleague Joanne Gerstner covered practice today and she reports that Rasheed Wallace is having X-rays taken on his left foot. He injured the foot early against Chicago Sunday. Most of us thought he had aggravated the same ankle that's been bothering since the playoffs last year. But this is a different injury. It's his foot. And the Pistons must be somewhat worried because physical therapist Arnie Kander is no fan of X-rays and MRIs. Often they find things that aren't really related to or have a bearing on the injury itself. For them to x-ray Wallace's foot is a red-flag, to me. The Pistons are saying this is just a precautionary step, so we'll see. It's doubtful we will know anything more tonight. But if we do, I will provide the update in this space.
