The Kell thread made me want to look up some old Tigers videos to see if I could get some play by play so I figured I'd just make a thread. Couldn't find any Kell yet but here's some stuff:

Here's a good Tigers trivia Q:

Did you know that a Tiger once had 45 HRs and 140 RBIs yet only finished 8th in the AL MVP vote and 2nd on his own team?! Who was he, when, and what Tiger finished ahead of him.

For my money, nothing will ever beat "Disco Demolition Night", even though it was in Chicago.

Tiger Classics: 45 seconds of commercials. Thanks Vinny, I had forgotten all those wonderful commercial endorsements of "The Roar of '84".

Dave Bergman was always one of my favorites.

I remember that one at bat he had that was like 15 or 16 pitches (I may be wrong about that).

He just kept fouling them off, fouling them off.

Here's a Bergman Moment:
I live in Omaha, Nebraska. Sometimes, if the wind is blowing (right to left on your computer screen) the right way, and the night is clear, I can get WJR on my radio.
Listening to a Tigers game one night, late in Nolan Ryan's career, when he had a bit of a resurgence and threw three or four no hitters in his twilight, and sure enough, he carries a "no-no" into the ninth.
Bergie (that's what I called him) comews up as a pinch hitter with one out, and lines a single to right.
Eight plus innings of listening to a fucking baseball game on the radio in Omaha Nebraska, and this worthless piece of shit ruins it.
Dave Bergman better hope I don't run into him somewhere, sometime in this life.
