It has randomly been disconnecting for the past 3 weeks. Changed batteries twice but it did not help. Last night it would literally disconnect every 20 seconds. The system is only a couple months old. Do I need a new controller? Could it be my system? I have the extended warranty from microcenter.

Speaking of controllers, if anyone upgrades to a 360 and wants to get rid of their xbox controllers let me know. i'd give you at least what the store would.

Sorry, don't think I have any extra xbox controllers. Aren't they cheap now anyway? It looks to me that Microsoft has literally axed the xbox. Their are literally no new releases.

Not really. Stores don't carry them anymore (like Best Buy). The only place you can get them is used at EB games, and they wanted 15-20 bucks for them (they are 25 brand new). You can get them cheap on Ebay, but half of them are knock off styles (I hate buying non standard controllers) and they all have 8+ bucks in shipping fees anyway. I have 2, so I'm not worried, but it would be nice to have a couple more for when friends come over. Right now my cousin and I bring them back and forth for family get togethers.

Just checked it out and they aren't easy to find.

The lady at BB said they stopped making them when the 360 came out. Oh well, not an emergency anyway.

My bud had a controller disconect problem and his were hard wire. I'm assuming yours are wireless? I have wireless with no problems.

Well I bought a wired controller last week and it works perfectly fine. Maybe something in the room like the wireless router is affecting the signal.

Might want to move that home made centrifuge to the basement.

I'm having controller issues, Rainbow Six on realistic mode is so insanely fucking hard that I keep throwing my controller. I just broke one, and I'm attempting to take it apart and fix it, I'll let you know how it goes.
