thanks fool. In case any of you are Bob and Tom fans...The Eagle in Boise, ID has them on their website on a live feed. Since it is mountain time zone, the show is on from 8-12 instead of 6-10 (like it normally is here). So that makes it perfect for those of us in office jobs. If you prefer the normal hours, the Fox in Cinci has them on as well.

I usually listen to Drew and Mike, switch over to Bob and Tom at some point until noon, go to lunch, and then catch Sports Inferno from 2-5.

Rome getting a bit overaggressive with the "could you play with a gay player" questioning.

If you are Rip, you almost have to feel like he's trying to trap you into saying something stupid.

Luckily, Rip played it smart.

EDIT: If you missed the interview (it's short), that link I posted earlier should be about ready to roll with it if you check it out ASAP.

short interview. Yeah, RIP was solid saying that as long as you're ready to play the game from 7:30-10 then it doesn't matter what you do outside the lockeroom. He also said he doesn't know how a lockeroom would react until you are in that situation.

Now it's time for the afterglow where people call/email in stating how epic the interview was.

It wasn't epic, btw.

I like Rome's interviews, but hate the rest of his show. If all he did was interview people the show would be great. instead he rants about worthless crap and has all his clones talk smack about each other. What a waste of time. I could care less what Bob in Tulsa has to say about Larry in Tucson (just an example). I could also do without the 100s of calls and emails saying "great interview" after a great interview. I also hate how he says "I'm not going to read this crap from 'X' emailer", and then procedes to read the email anyway.

That's just schtick.

Yes, but it sucks.

It's like the idiot Idol people who act like they are sick of hearing the rejects go up there and scream the national anthem or some random garbage. If you really are sick of it, then you wouldn't show them on national TV and they'd stop showing up. But instead they are sell outs and give those people a forum to showcase their idiocy.

I think somoene pissed in my cherios today. Back to our regulary scheduled program.

Did Rip actually say anything else other than comment on what was going on with Amaechi?

Work intruded and I blinked and missed it.

Nothing of substance.
