Observers in Portland can't understand why the Blazers are playing center Jamaal Magloire over heralded rookie LaMarcus Aldridge. Magliore ($8.3 million) has asked for a trade, and the Blazers are trying to comply with his wishes.

What about Melvin Ely?

He was suppose to be traded to the Nets.
