View Full Version : BCS Title Game
Moodini31 01-08-2007, 10:33 PM Is anyone going to talk about the National Championship Game? [smilie=shrug smile:
I figured we probably should.
It's halftime now and it's 34-14, Florida. WOW! All I've got to say that that SEC speed is reeediculous. Florida's defense is unbelievably fast, the DB's are sticking with the OSU receivers (-Ginn), and they're able to blitz and put constant heat on Troy Smith.
People have also been ragging the Gator offense, but I think their offense or Boise's is the most impressive in the country. Their scheme is just about impossible to figure out. Tebow at HB, Leak moves to WR, draw to Tebow. Cats coming in motion to run the option to the reverse side! Tebow fake draw, roll out for a TD! Amazing!
Baker 01-08-2007, 10:45 PM Well, Florida's performance along with USC's and Boise State's prove that you never truly know who the best team is until it is settled on the field.
I'm glad we don't have to hear any of that "They didn't deserve to be there, we deserved to be there" garbage anymore. I think it goes for ALL teams, take care of your business or don't bitch. Only teams that can are the teams that win all their games and don't get a shot (Boise St.).
A little side note, I wonder how that foot tastes to Mike Hart? "Ohio State is going to kill Florida, they don't even deserve to be there." LOL
Zekyl 01-08-2007, 11:08 PM Now lets see Florida and Boise play each other, or get USC in there. Basically I'm just asking for a playoff.
xanadu 01-09-2007, 02:16 AM The logical side of me wanted OSU to win so that the big10 would look good. However, I have to admit that I actually enjoyed watching OSU and Troy Smith lose. I have to say that urban meyer pantsed the sweater vest. However the Big10 looks like crap 2-5 with the top 2 teams losing by a combined 41 points. Oh well, I just hope that florida doesn't win the basketball title this year. I guess because I'm a hater.

My thoughts exactly. I always root for big ten teams (besides OSU), but I wanted them to win this year to shut up Meyer. However, it didn't really pain me because OSU getting pounded was fun to see as well, even though I lost a ton of alpacas on the game.
Moodini31 01-09-2007, 08:22 PM I agree with X. Going in, I hated Florida because I thought they got to play for the title because of the Whining Weasel, and of course I hate the Buckeyes. But I did want the Bucks to win for the Big 10, but it's always fun to see Sweatervest and the Bucks lose, especially on the biggest stage. So it really was a lose/lose/win/win for me, if that's possible.
With all that said....a big smile came over my face when I saw the score go to 34-14. [smilie=laugh3.gif]
Still shocked at the outcome though. Moodini is now a firm believer in SEC speed.

Jickboy jumps in with a one liner ripping somebody else's material while offering none of his own. Surprise Surprise! What's next "Fuck Sparty" 18 times or "You are here too much"
Moodini31 01-13-2007, 04:26 PM Tim Tebow has to be one of the luckiest cats alive. He wins the national title and this is who he spends his free time with.
