I realize it's VERY early to start this, but I figured it should be its own thread independent from the 2006 version.
So why start it now? With the season drawing to a close and the Jan 15 decision date to enter the NFL draft looming, I think it would be interesting to have some early speculation to look back at in 11 months.
Plus, Bobby Petrino leaving for the NFL could convince Brohm and Bush to follow suit.

Depending on who stays or not, anyone could win.

An early leader though: Darren McFadden, though Felix Jones may take too many carries. Reggie Bush 2, or limited, we'll see. Jamaal Charles - could have a big year. Booty has the LA QB thing working for him. Savior Xavier Lee could get HUGE pub if FSU does well this year. Tebow and Harvin will be huge at UF, but will be sophs, which will hurt. CJ Spiller another super soph with a shot.

Senior QB's that had/have big bowl games can often take that into the next year, so that's something else to look at.

Ray Rice and Steve Slaton are also early favorites.

Any of this years stud sophs have a chance, but until the 15th we won't know which juniors are for sure coming back or not.

Example, we know Calvin Johnson is gone, but we don't know for sure about Dwayne Jarrett yet. (at least I haven't heard anything)

I doubt Jarrett could win the Heisman - not flashy enough, needs to burn more people(rather than plucking it from around them), I mean, Larry Fitz didn't win.

Rice, White, and Slaton = solid shots too.

McFadden is far and away the best player, his qb in the SEC will prevent him from winning it though since you've got to be on a near Top 5 team.
