PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Less than three weeks after Allen Iverson was traded, Larry Brown rejoined the Philadelphia 76ers, this time as an executive vice president instead of a coach.
The Sixers said early Saturday that Brown will assist team president Billy King and the basketball operations department, and work on other special projects.
"Oh yeah, I think he's very happy back in Philly," said Brown's agent, Joe Glass.

He'll be coaching there soon, if not by the end of this year, next year.
Who better to teach all of those young draft picks how to PTRW?

brown said at the press conference he's definitely not interested in coaching philly, he's strictly there to support the front office.
so i guess we can take that to mean he'll be secretly orchestrating mo cheeks firing so he can take over within a year.

Penny played under Larry Brown during the 2006 NBA Knicks debacle and thinks it's a good idea to bring him to Memphis?
Yeah, I know -- college vs. pros. But still...
Would LB be better than SVG with the current roster? Hmmm....
