Ive been watching the game... err, had it on in the background. Just shoddy play. In the first half there were something like three turnovers in five plays, teams just kept giving it back. I think there was a missed XP by Clemson as well.

A bunch of pointless games that are only around to make rich people more rich. There are a handful of games that are worth watching if that.

Not at all the most wonderful week. But New Year's Day is one of the best days of the year. It used to be even better before they moved the championship game to practically February.

I would have to say the two best days of the year are the first two days of the NCAA tourney. 32 games in less than 40 hours. It's freaking awesome.

If I am a college football player, and my tema rolls into a California or Florida beach town, and it's 80, sunny, and there is nothing but poo-say walking around, fuck football.

The problem is that there is way too much time in between the end of the regular season and bowl games. Teams get out of sync, they lose some chemistry, its terrible. Bowl games are almost an entire new season now. Especially the Championship game. College football just does a lot of things wrong.

With that said, I'm looking forward to watching the Rose Bowl and the Championship game.

Why was it a joke? Arkansas #12 lost to #6 Wisconsin by 3. It's a good thing that game did propel them to the title game, because had it not, UM would have been there and they are clearly not the #2 team. The only thing better than Florida jumping UM would have been USC beating UCLA. Then we would have had a true #1 vs. #2.

Boise runs an exciting, aggressive offense. That's the type (maybe to a lesser extent) of offense that Michigan needs to run. It's sad to see a team like Boise be innovative and have success, when one of the elite traditional powers in college football is still stuck in the dinosaur age.

Last nights sounded better, but the other bowls on Fox were done terrible. I watched a couple of them on new year's day and the audio was barely audible some times. It was produced very poorly. Last night you could hear fine, they just weren't great announcers.

BTW, I love ND getting beat down for the 9th straight bowl game. They are such frauds.

I DO think the game between OSU and Florida will top the Rose Bowl. But the fact that the Sugar had a 10 shows why Notre Dame is always going to be in the mix.
