As you can see the Hawks have been eating Fans in order to keep the fan base low enough to get a new stadium.
Lets hope Josh Smith Has weak legs after his long night with Pimp Plasma Perry and the Ho's, his long day chasing butterflies, and long time getting it on with Paris and Nicole..

Atticus771 12-22-2006, 11:48 PM I'll be there. My first trip to the Palace, in fact, and first Pistons game ever. I'm hoping for a big beatdown on the Hawks, 30 points from Chauncey, a couple Tayshaun dunks on lob passes, and some thunder dunks from Mad Max.
Go Pistons!

Tahoe 12-23-2006, 07:41 PM I'm getting feed from Atlanta and the announcers talking about how they are decimated by injuries. Hopefully we get an easy win and can get our youngsters some time...as I just see AJ in street clothes.
Uncle Mxy 12-23-2006, 07:55 PM Who tripped Tayshaun after he made that shot?
BubblesTheLion 12-23-2006, 08:08 PM The Composite Ball gave 2 months notice after it met Jason Maxiell.
Tahoe 12-23-2006, 08:28 PM Mad Max has arrived peeps, Flip cannot put that Genie back in the bottle.
Didn't see it Uncle Mxy.
Flip Murray gave MM the ball in a very bad spot on the fast break. Delfino did too. That second unit has to learn how to finish the break and they'll be a lot mo better.
Zip Goshboots 12-23-2006, 08:52 PM I Think Lute Olsen and Del Harris were separated at birth.
Uncle Mxy 12-23-2006, 09:02 PM Nazr with a three attempt from full court. :)
Zip Goshboots 12-23-2006, 09:03 PM Did he make it?
Uncle Mxy 12-23-2006, 09:06 PM It was a reference to a ridiculously bad full-court pass by Nazr.
Zip Goshboots 12-23-2006, 09:08 PM It reminds me of the time Bill Sharman threw a pass to a team mate who was 70 feet away and under the other teams' basket. The ball went in, and Sharman turned to the guy who was guarding him and said, "You never could play defense"
Train Wreck 12-23-2006, 09:54 PM Jason Maxiel > All of you guys combined
Uncle Mxy 12-23-2006, 09:57 PM Someone needs to feed the ball to Superdupe, just to give everyone some love.
Vinny 12-23-2006, 09:59 PM Someone needs to feed the ball to Superdupe, just to give everyone some love.
Took the words right out of my mouth. He gave it up to Flip for that shot in the corner, I hope he returns the favor. Let's see a superdunk, it's been 2 years.
Black Dynamite 12-23-2006, 10:22 PM I'm glad we put away a team we are supposed to beat. Very good play. unfortunately it seems we won't know how good we are until our next string of western conference games and the second half of the season when the contenders emerge from the pretenders. But The pistons are top 3 in the East and top 2 in the central. cleveland just isnt deep enough to go anywhere ahead of us and chicago.
Higherwarrior 12-23-2006, 10:44 PM flip murray is a bit of a ballhog i'd say.
delfino was great tonight, as was j-max. however maxiell has to be a little more selective in how he attacks the hoop. i LOVE how he wrecklessly attacks the rim and forces people to foul him. but he also tends to leave the ball very exposed for the defender to get a piece of it, as he did a couple more times tonight and was rejected.
delfino had a really good game too. even before he started scoring at the end, he was making great hustle plays, was playing good D, rebounding well, and setting up some nice easy plays for others. he was very unselfish out there.
Uncle Mxy 12-23-2006, 10:47 PM It's nice to have a plain ol' blowout.
I'd settle for about 70 more games like this.
b-diddy 12-23-2006, 10:53 PM i've been dying for a good dunker on the pistons forever, and it appears maxiell is my boy now. he's the best piston dunker since....? ham (does he count?)? stackhouse? hill?
we've really lacked great dunkers. i really like maxiell trying to posterize guys in the dying minutes of a blowout. lol, hope he does that in Madison square garden.

I don't mind him getting blocked a couple times. More often than not he's gonna slam it on their head, and that will be that. If Flip doesn't lose his mind and start cutting into his minutes he will easily double the dunk total of every other piston combined by the end of the season.
Hasnt JMax drawn two flagrants in two games? That says something. Another good win tonight, Nazr had a nice statline.
metr0man 12-24-2006, 02:02 PM It says something alright, it says that Jason Maxiell is unstoppable. Other players have a natural tendency to shy away from the basket after getting hammered. Mad Max does no such thing and regular fouls are USELESS against him, he goes full bore no matter what.
Please god all I want for Christmas is to see mad max posterize Zo one day.

micknugget 12-24-2006, 03:00 PM Thirded! And a new avatar is born!
Atticus771 12-24-2006, 10:57 PM I couldn't have asked for a greater first experience at the Palace. I got there plenty early, had pictures taken with the 3 Pistons Championship trophies and 2 Shock trophies, went down courtside and watched Amir, Blaylock, and Maxiell play 1-on-1 against Ron Harper, saw Delfino make 12 consecutive 3's in warm-ups, and witnessed 'Sheed knocking down several left-handed 3's.
The crowd was reasonably loud and rowdy for a game against the Hawks, too. I definitely can't wait to go back.
