I'm surprised nobody started this one yet, so I thought I would. I'm excited to see this game and I like the fact that it starts at 11 so that it is out of the way early in time for the AH Tournament. I'm anxious to see UM because I have not had a chance to see them this year. This game will probably show how they measure up. UCLA is NOT the best team in the country, but they are good. UNC and OSU are far better in my opinion.

It's a huge opportunity for Michigan to get some pub, some excitement, and a tournament locking win. I'll make a blind prediction since I haven't seen UM yet...

Historically UM has played UCLA tough, blowing it down the stretch. However, those UCLA teams weren't ranked #1. Could it happen again?

Yeah, 2 pm sounds fine, which it what it is here. But for the fans in LA, it's 11 am. It's earlier than an early football game. Interesting if that will factor in at all. Probably not. Most of these players have likely had practices far earlier than that and won't have any trouble getting fired up for the game.

I couldn't agree more. Hip's post pretty much sums up my thoughts on Michigan basketball. As for the game, Michigan is going to get worked....it it should be over early. I think I'll TiVo it so I'm able to skip through the 2 hours of agony and not waste much of my Saturday.

I'm just praying that this is a wakeup call for the team and they realize how much harder they have to work from here on out.

Sorry Jeth, we've played exactly 2 quality opponents and really haven't been in either game and have lost by a total of 44 points. True fans need to root for whatever it takes to get a coaching change.
