I buy Football, BBall and Baseball packages. Maybe I should consider the NHL package. UxKa 12-07-2006, 10:44 PM Hellz yeah. JickBoy34 12-07-2006, 11:01 PM People still watch hockey? UxKa 12-07-2006, 11:32 PM People still watch hockey? I would if I could. Got 01/28/07 circled on my calendar. WTFchris 12-08-2006, 10:20 AM I watched the Wings and Pistons last night. Luckily I only saw the 3rd period of the Wings game. Datsyuk and Zetterberg have been heating up the last few games. Lang too. Good to see. Shugadaddi 01-18-2007, 10:28 AM The streak continues....Datsyuk with 4 assists and a goal in a win over the Preds. Huge game from Dats and Zetterberg. Huge win for the Wings. Together with Holmstrom, this line is hotter than the sun. I know that there are about 3 people on this board who follow hockey, but now is the time for the curious fan to catch a game or two and see a truly great effort. Cross 01-18-2007, 10:44 AM Datsyuk and Zetterberg with huge games over Nashville. WTFchris 01-18-2007, 10:55 AM That line is cash money. They showed the graphic last night and over the last 5 games their numbers are amazing. Pavel had 3 goals and 11 assists I think. Hank had like 5 goals and 6 assists and Homer had at least a few goals too. Zekyl 01-18-2007, 06:11 PM It's nice to see those tip-ins finally coming to Homer. He works his ass off in front of the net and he takes a beating. Shugadaddi 01-19-2007, 08:43 AM This line is putting together points like the old Bertuzzi/ Morrison/ Naslund line did a few years ago. The only big difference is that they're doing it with finesse instead of brute force. Pavel has put up 20 points in his last 9 games. That's huge. Cross 01-19-2007, 11:25 PM Tough loss to the blue Jackets. 1979 01-20-2007, 09:28 AM Gah, to Columbus of all people. Anyway, does anyone have that one animated image of Datsyuk owning (http://youtube.com/watch?v=C4CD84qo9Eo) Marty Turco? Fraserburn 01-21-2007, 03:55 PM http://www.rotoworld.com/images/pixel.gif http://www.rotoworld.com/images/pixel.gif Red Wings' General manager Ken Holland noted that the Wings' organization wants to re-sign sniper Pavel Datsyuk, despite his high demands. "We're not trading him at the trade deadline," Holland said. "In talks to Pavel and his agent, they tell me their first priority is to sign with the Red Wings. That's our priority, too." Datsyuk is the team leader in points with 45 on the season, five ahead of Nicklas Lidstrom and Henrik Zetterberg, so it is no wonder Holland wants to lock him up. However, he may be asking for something in the range of $7 million a season, so stay tuned as the trade deadline approaches. If he is a bust again in the playoffs this year, I would have problems with paying him big money. If you just looked at his playoff stats you would think that the guy is terrible. That doesn't bode well when you want to win a championship. |
