Anyone use it? I haven't ordered the home league pass yet because I've been working a ton and can watch the games at work but does anyone see this as a viable alternative? I'm intrigued.

I have it. League pass is awesome on your TV, but I think they still have some bugs to work out on the broadband version. I've tried watching a few games on it, and the stream can't seem to go more than 30 seconds or so without having to rebuffer. Maybe I have bandwidth issues or something, though.
^^ Thats what I was wondering. Apparantly they dont tell you the price, I couldnt find it anywhere without making an account. What struck me as odd is that you have to sign up for it through satellite or cable, and if you cant then you cant have the internet version. So basically its not a cool internet option, its just a bonus feature for signing up for the regular league pass.

It looks like they're changing it for this year, I saw a 5.99 "Day Pass" option and a $129 year option.
The MLB online package was very choppy but once you learned how to tweak the settings you could get it to work pretty well. Hopefully it's the same on NBA. I'm going to try a day pass either today or Thurs, I'll let you know.

If you mean changing the fact that you cant just get the broadband, then they need to update their FAQ. I guess it doesnt matter to me, my cable offers it. I saw the day option, I might try that for one of the upcoming games that looks like a good one. It is nice that you can watch the game for 24 hours in case work or whatever interferes. I told my gf I wanted this or a subscription to Phantasy Star Universe for xmas, her response to both was 'why so we wont hang out for six months?' lol

Yeah, it comes free if you're a TV subscriber so I assumed since they're charging that you must be able to get it stand-alone. But their faq does still say different so who knows...

I finally bucked up and ordered the package for home last week and am watching tonight's game on NBA broadband in the office.
So far, I have to say I'm impressed. I've had no problems with buffering or lagging and the picture is pretty good, even when I go full-screen. Obviously not as good as on TV but pretty good nonetheless. Better than your average You-Tube video.
Who knows how it'll work if/when they eventually roll it out to the full public and their servers are much more overloaded but for now, it's great.
