This is a Firefox extension that makes it easy to monitor scores and snarf recaps. It seems to work and is reasonably convenient. It's available from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2990/

View Full Version : NBA Scoreboard plugin for Firefox Uncle Mxy 12-04-2006, 11:23 PM This is a Firefox extension that makes it easy to monitor scores and snarf recaps. Uncle Mxy 12-05-2006, 04:23 AM Once installed, you drag the NBA Scoreboard button somewhere on a toolbar. Then, you can either push the button, which simply gets you to an NBA page. Or you can do what I do and use the menu right alongside the button. That menu has scores and recaps for today updated to the minute (at least as far as the nba.com site has them) and pointers to yesterday's scores and recaps easily accessible. It's not that big a deal, but I liked how the scores were a menu. I pop the menu and the scores are there, then I do something else and they're out of the way. I'm not rendering some overweight page from some sports site. |
