Simple Question. If you're going to get two, please explain. Also please explain your reasoning.

I myself already have a 360 and love it, and I think I'll be picking up the Wii pretty shortly because of the cheap price, innovative gameplay and fun factor. The PS3 is just waaaaaay too expensive and nothing really stands out to me about it. Sure, the graphics look nice and they're going to have an online service, but so does the 360. Sure the controller has a motion sensor, but seems to be a cheap knock off version of the Wiimote. Sony seems to be copycatting, + blu-ray for a $600 price tag. Not my bag baby.

At the moment it looks like an evetual pick up of Wii and PS3.

360 has had a whole year to impress me with its library and exclusives, and color me disappointed while excelling in its FPS exclusive market, it fell flat on its face everywhere else(as far as exclusives go). Again FF, Resident Evil, MGS, Socom, Zelda, and god of war are all franchises that are exclusive or spend more time with sony/nintendo with countless others. I'm not giving up those for gear of war and halo. no thanks.

I'm leaving the door open for 360 until i buy a system next year. but it'll take a miracle batch of releases.

Thats fair point of view if you've pigeoned holed yourself into already laying a chunk of dough on the 360. Since I haven't its not as much an issue. And yea its an absolute knock off of the Wii remote. Not much choice there with xbox part of the company that originated the rumble controller technology.

and Blu Ray for 600 is a deal with most players going from 800 to 1000 dollars. I may invest into blu ray hard for the computer if they sell the blu ray-r discs. 50 gb of memory is a very big deal for storing info.

For the record I had PC gamepads that rumbled a couple years before Xbox, and they werent MS gamepads either.

Definitely all of the above. I have the 360 and I've been enjoying it, but there's something
about Xbox I don't like. It's great, the graphics are amazing, but I don't think that it'll even
come close to the PS3. Tekken is going to be fucking sick.

As for the Wii, I grew up on Nintendo. Mario and Zelda are in my soul.
I can't wait for Mario Soccer on this next gen.

But will Blu Ray players cost $800 to $1000 forever? I bet next year or the year after, the price will come waaaay down and the PS3 price tag will still be reeediculous. I've also been hearing a lot of not so good reviews about the PS3. Technical problems, disappointing launch titles and (not to be redundant) the killer cost.

You'll hear plenty. But XBox wasnt all that peachy to start off itself. Jickboy is still fuming over his hassle with his defective system. and its not like we're talking about phillips Cd-I or turbo graphics 16. Sony has been doing it and doing it well for a long time. they arent brand new and have more software developing and distributing companies on their side than any company in gaming.

With that said the launch titles have been fairly mild outside of Resistance(played that over a friends house, and it was kinda slick). Either way I dont know anyone whose had issues with theres functioning wise.

The price is pretty high, I'm sure it'll be one of the main reasons Sony will have a slow start. but it still looks like the best system on the market and the exclusive games on its roster for 2007-08 still get more of my attention than xbox exclusives. Both companies should do well. But Sony will still move to the top fairly easy when the other major publishers set to release for them do so in 2007 unless Xbox has a some amazing new blood ready to challenge them. and I mean non FPS new blood exclusives.

cuz they had them.

BTW...they said it will be cheaper right after Christmas. Who knows? This guy is PS guy but said XBox on-line shit is much better. It costs you money, but its better.
