Glenn 10-31-2006, 10:15 AM Matt,
No Denver?
Matt,
No Denver?
i wanted to stick Minny in there with their additions (KG+MJ+RD = playoff team, imo). i think NO/OKC got better with Peja and Chandler might finally have a breakout season. that left me with the two LA teams, Denver, and Sacramento to drop. i picked Denver as the weakest of those three.
maybe it was just my predisposition to hate carmelo anthony.....

1 Miami over 8 Milwaukee
2 Detroit over 7 Indiana
3 New Jersey over 6 Washington
5 Chicago over 4 Cleveland
5 Chicago over 1 Miami
2 Detroit over 3 New Jersey
2 Detroit over 5 Chicago

5 LA Clippers over 4 Denver
1 Phoenix over 5 LA Clippers
2 Dallas over 6 Houston
1 Phoenix over 2 Dallas
FINALS

Homer? Maybe, but I think it's as good as any out there.
SDPistonfan 10-31-2006, 01:27 PM Detroit
Miami
Cleveland
NJ
Chicago
Indy
Washington
Toronto (just because I wanna pick a dark horse for once)
Near misses: Bucks, Magic
West:
Dallas
Phoenix
San Antonio
Denver
Rockets
Clipps
Lakers
Minnesota
VERY Near misses: Jazz, NO/Ok, Kings, in that order
The West is really tough this season. Either of those last 3 could, factoring in Rocket health issues, replace any of the bottom four seeds.
The Magic will win the championship, we'll get a shitty pick, and I'll spend all summer with a pick of Darko shimmying in my sig.
Pharaoh 11-01-2006, 10:08 AM No love for Orlando? LMMFAO
East (in no order)
Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, New Jersey, Miami, Washington, Milwaukee and the regular season loving Pacers.
West (in no order)
Spurs, Sacramento, Dallas, Phoenix, Denver, Clippers, Lakers and ....
Golden State as the 8th seed just to go out on a limb. Should be interesting to see if Don Nelson can do anything with that bunch.

Glenn 11-02-2006, 01:08 PM Just in case some of you missed it. You no longer have to be a division winner to get the #2 or #3 seeds.
They changed the rule.
If a division runner up has a better record than one of the other division winners, they get the higher seed.
This is only for seeds 1-4, though.

WTFchris 03-12-2007, 09:28 AM Well, in the West I only have NO and LA Lakers swapped (the seeds aren't right of course)
In the East I have NJ and Toronto swapped, and also NY and Orlando (though they are only a game apart)
