If it wasn't for all the injuries, MSU would roll in this one with all of the steam they have from last week. The injuries are ridiculous though. Multiple injuries on the O'line, D'line, Tailback, WR, and Secondary positions. It is seriously unbelievable. However, I believe MSU will ride their momentum into Indiana and come out victorious. It is crazy how much enthusiasm and attention has been sparked from the comeback. Below is part of an article on Scout.com about MSU's bowl situation. Let's just hope they take this one game at a time. Go State!

"But the Spartans have an even more favorable scenario if they run the table and win all four remaining contests.

They could be invited to the Outback Bowl on January 1, 2007 if they sport an 8-4 record, on the strength of wins over bowl bound Purdue and Penn State. That could match the Spartans up against a top SEC team. (Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia)."

Would it be rude to laugh?

Sorry. Since we're in the business of betting nuts now, I'll bet one of mine that State does NOT run the table.

OK, they were down 38-3 to Northwestern and lost at home to Illinois who was 1-24 in their last 25 Big Ten games. Talking about stringing together 4 straight wins with one of those being at Penn State is craziness.

If the announcer in this game and I were coaching MSU right now, they would have far better chance of winning and I'm a nobody. I'm sitting watching this game and it is unbelievable. I have called the play that MSU would run on three key plays in the first half. I'm sitting watching the game, MSU is going for it (4th and 1) and I say to my wife, "I bet our house that they run the option to the far side of the field." What did they run? That exact play and it was blown up. If an elementary teacher sitting at home can predict what they are running, do you think a D cord. for the opposing team will have a tough time?

MSU's corners have been giving 10-15 yards on every single play. 3rd and 5, they are giving 10 yards minimum. I'm sitting here yelling at the TV, MAKE A COACHING ADJUSTMENT. The announcer is saying the same thing. Anything change? Nope.

This coaching staff is an absolute joke. I may come off like I'm pissed, but honestly I'm laughing at home watching it. It is unreal. And how do you have 8 penalties for 75 yards in one half? What is it that you do as a coach?! Please tell me.

Can we please hire a coach that can teach discipline! I'm so tired of penalty plagued Spartan teams. Even if they lose, please lose by being beaten, not beating yourself.

I obviously hope I have good things to talk about once this one is over, but I'm remembering why I chose to leave the TV last week today. How hard is it to field a disciplined team? Be tough with them!

Wait, I think I know what they are doing. They want to break the record they set last week.

disgusting. This is a reasonably proud program. Illinois, 3Qs against NW, and now Indy.

46 unanswered points to the Hoosiers, and a big "L"? ROFLMAO![smilie=totlach.gif]

Michigan basketball is by no means a powerhouse, but we're not the laughing stock of college basketball like Michigan State is in college football.
