I do not know if any of you went but I did. Couple things to say, sheed came a half hour late and stayed for about 30 minutes. Chauncey was still signing autographs when I left. RIP and Chauncey were suprises inside the Cingular and ERSA club, I thought I was waiting for a jersey that I get for free because I paid my season tickets early, but then bam there RIP was. I asked RIP if he ran a sub five minute mile and he laughed at me and says he is at 4 20 and he confirmed the dog thing. I got dyess's auto and when he finished signing my jersey I said thanks sheed, he got a kick out of that and so did everyone around, I think he thought I was crazy. I told flip that he should have been MVP 2 years ago and he agreed and said he would have if ray allen hadn't of come back, then i said you should have pulled a nancy kerrigan on his ass, he got a kick out of that. I asked amir if he was going to be in the nbdl and he did not like that, he said no way, so I am not quite sure about that. I told Maxiel that he should be getting 6 minutes per half and he was like whateva. They had the whole set up this year different than last, last year it was more difficult to talk to the players, but this year you went up in the suites and could communicate with them pretty easily I felt. Lindsay said that he talked to Allan on the phone today and then I asked if he was going to come play for detroit and he started to say something and then I cut him off and I dont know why I guess I got excited. Oh yeah and let me say again, sheed is an ass, with his head phones on and just leavin after 20 minutes.

When we were at the Grizz game all the players high-fived the fans going out except Sheed. he was chatting with Chuky so I didn't think anything of it...but I guess he could have stuck his hand out while he chatted too.

Sheed was never a social person like that. doesnt mean he's a self loving ass IMO. I mean he even keeps his charities on the down low. So I just think he's just not good at meet and greet shit like that.. JMHO.

Yes mtv cribs always lets you know how a person is in public.:2thumbsup:
Seriously if you feel he's an ass because he wasn't making an effort to be social with the crowd thats cool. In fact i agree to an extent that its bad manners on his part. I'm just saying he doesn't and hasn't been known to make that effort on most ocasions in public and typically at mandatory events he didnt organize or have choice of going. If you expected otherwise, if you expected you and people at that party to be the equivilant of mtv cribs camera crew. then you were doomed to not like the result either way.:tongue2:
on a side note...LOL@Amir frowning up at the nbdl

Amir should not be in the NBDL. He's shown enough to stay on the roster IMO. He's raw, but is proably better suited learning from our coaches in practice at this point. He's adjusted to the game I think...it's just a matter of experiance. Dupree is really only there for situation defense maybe. Amir showed he can at least play that role, and has a ton more upside.
my buddy went and said he got Sheed's autograph.
on a related note, i was having lunch w/ that same friend at Potbelly's in Troy and Ronald Dupree walked in :D
Did you buy him a sandwich and say "keep it for when you get cut"?

Maybe it would be safe for you to not run into any famous boxers.
