While both of them can't match our pitching, I like our chances against a seemingly struggling Chris Carpenter, Jeff Weaver, Jeff Suppan & Reyes.

The Cardinals seem like an aging, team in decline to me.

They just happen to have the best player in baseball, and one of the best managers.

We could just walk Pujols every time (partially joking).

The Mets bats are much more scary, even if their starting pitching is ass. El Duque is apparently saying that he'll be available if they make the WS.

Also, Leyland scouted for LaRussa and the Cards for 6 years before taking the Tigers job.

If the Mets go on and win, it'll probably go down as one of the best plays in postseason history. Man on first and Rolen belted one to left. Endy Chavez leaps from the edge of the track, stretches over the fence about 3 feet and catches it in the fingertips of his glove. Then he lands, wheels and fires it back into the infield to double the guy off first.

Sounds pretty incredible.
