The fan in me always tries to find a glimmer of hope. When I think about this game, I can't help but think this is the opportunity of John L. Smith's/Drew Stanton's career. They are facing a mountain. A mountain they have about 1% chance of defeating. But, with all of the criticism, jokes, rumors about the program...it all could be erased with one monumental performance.

Let's step into DocTre's dreamland for a moment. MSU upsets #1 OSU. Tons of great publicity for a change. Greatest win in any current Spartan's career. And on top of that, all of the big boys are now out of the way. Michigan State would be coming off a huge win and they'd have teams like Indiana, Northwestern, Minnesota, etc. left to play.

I'm not picking MSU. They have tons of injuries and haven't played well since the Notre Dame game. But, I can't help but dream. Nobody thought it would happen in 98', can history repeat itself? This might be Smith and Stanton's last shot.

Go State!

Nope.

When MSU got the ball on OSU's 30 to start the game and got 0 points, I knew it was going to get ugly.

So did I. Even when given an amazing opportunity, they don't take advantage.

Wow, only three posts in 7 hours (not including this one).

Then again, Tigers baseball is "ON".

A sad, sad site in East Lansing. It's starting to remind me of the end of the Bobby Williams era. When does John L. get canned? Tomorrow? End of the season?

With Mason, unless Selmon makes him, JLS is staying through the end of the year.
