View Full Version : Langlois features Delfino
lmcpherson 10-11-2006, 10:31 PM “Sometimes the Argentine press – now they know who we are – they follow us, they ask many things, they try to fix the problems. Sometimes they write different things than what I say. I only want to play. When I come here, I come to play.”

nice article....pretty long, too. i think the first month or so, people are going to really be pumped when they see what Delfino can offer. Flip and Delfino should be a good tandem off the bench.
thanks for the link, lmcpherson.
Uncle Mxy 10-12-2006, 06:31 AM Maybe it was reported and I just glazed by it, but I didn't know he had a 5 year old daughter.

Who are you trying to fool?
You've got her MySpace page bookmarked.
Uncle Mxy 10-12-2006, 09:02 AM <laughs> Just because I have a penchant for Internet dirt-digging doesn't mean I do that with every dumb little thing that passes my eyes.
But just for you and that "Krista Jahnke wants to sex Mutombo" icon you have currently:

Glenn 10-12-2006, 09:06 AM ^I'm not ashamed to say that I've seen that before.
But thanks for looking out for me.
Black Dynamite 10-12-2006, 10:03 AM HOW WE MET We met the first day of Journalism 300 class in January 2000. A friendship developed over the next year when we both worked for the student newspaper, and even though Jimmy was really busy in the weight room, a friendship turned into something more.
WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED July 1, 2005 HOW IT HAPPENED We were in Florida, visiting Jimmy's Grandma and celebrating my birthday. On my birthday, we went out to dinner and for a walk on the beach. That's when James got down on one knee, flexed his massive arm muscles and popped the question. Krista's response was "Are you serious?"
maybe you should back off Glenn. [smilie=sayitaintso:
and you should be semi ashamed that you've found and already read that.[smilie=running.gif]
Glenn 10-12-2006, 03:13 PM Somehow we got from Delfino to Latham-Jahnke.
It always comes back to Latham-Jahnke, doesn't it?
As far as Fino, I'd say he's off to a good start, although that bunny of a layup that he missed was really odd. Luckily Maxiell was there to gobble it up and put it back in.
If Delfino takes a big step forward this year, I really like our team.

well he's not required to do as much as he was last year. just get fast break buckets, make good passes, and play defense. of course making a couple jump shots helps. but flip murray will be the guy they look to to provide the scoring off the bench.
Balloonsface 10-12-2006, 04:56 PM ABOUT JAMES
James grew up in Detroit and Grosse Pointe Farms, although he likes to tell people he's from Cincinatti. He was born in Ohio, and now is an avid Ohio State football fan. But he choose to go to MSU, where he studied journalism and advertising. He covered hockey for the college newspaper for three years and now works as a copy editor and designer at The Oakland Press.
"But he choose to go to MSU" Nice grammar, whoreface.

Eyes are definitely on Delfino to step up.
mercury 10-12-2006, 09:48 PM For those that followed Langlois from the Oakland press know that he shot from the hip... not affraid to be critical... now he's writing puff pieces for the Pistons?
Nice to hear Carlos is comfortable and able to play decent minutes... the Pistons have given the approval for extended PT (is Joe gonna back off his statments?)
Now it's on Carlos to become a consistent contributor... no more excuses
Don Flamenco is the shit.

Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.
Uncle Mxy 10-13-2006, 07:01 AM Pay your enemies off?
Maybe Langlois found a dead body and decided to capitalize so he'd have a decent retirement.
