View Full Version : Illini @ Michigan State
Baker 09-29-2006, 03:53 PM I'm looking forward to watching the game just because my team is playing in it, but this one doesn't spark my interest. It should be a blowout. From MSU's standpoint, they need to shake off the bad feelings, come out and dominate, and work on things for the following week.
Ringer- 140 yds
Jehuu- 80 yds
Stanton- 40 rushing, 250 passing, 3 total tds with limited playing time due to blowout
Warrick gets his first pick.
MSU- 52
Illinois-16
MoTown 09-29-2006, 03:58 PM You're giving Illinois a little too much credit with that score.
Glenn 09-29-2006, 04:02 PM I wouldn't watch this game if you paid me $50.
Moodini31 09-29-2006, 04:54 PM This team got shut out by Rutgers (who is now ranked, WTF?) and lost to Syracuse, who was like 0-11 last year. Sparty-BIG.
Jethro34 09-30-2006, 02:14 PM I haven't been watching the game, but I was just on ESPN and looked at the box score.
Is Ringer injured or something? Why does he only have 1 carry and 1 catch?
Seems like State is getting caught looking ahead. They better get their act together quick.
They were up against it in the Pitt game and came back, so I'm not writing them off, but this isn't good.
Jethro34 09-30-2006, 02:55 PM Refs....makin' it cool.
Jethro34 09-30-2006, 03:13 PM A bad choice on a return in one game might not be bad coaching, but when it happens in two straight, that might be kinda bad for the coach.
By the way: Hoyer's arm >>>>>>>>>>>> Stanton's arm.
JickBoy34 09-30-2006, 03:19 PM LOL @ MSU...They were more worried about protecting the daunted State S than actually winning the game. What a bunch of clowns, led by the Riddler...
Jethro34 09-30-2006, 03:32 PM So wait, let me get this right, they can plant a flag in South Bend, but they can't handle it when the worst team in the Big Ten wants to celebrate on the S? That's ridiculous. I'm not trying to trash on State, their fans have it hard enough right now as is, but come on. What a hypocritcal bunch of douchebags.
DennyMcLain 09-30-2006, 09:27 PM Official DrTre11 suicide watch begins...now.
MOLA1 09-30-2006, 10:23 PM I guarantee he's checking for this already.

Moodini31 10-01-2006, 12:00 AM I watched the game with Tre today and he actually was in much better spirits than I expected. I'll let him sum things up for you guys.
As for the results, the game shocked me. I knew the ND loss would crush Sparty, but not this early. I thought they would wax the Illini and would be hyped going into the Meeechigan game. WOW!
Baker 10-01-2006, 01:03 PM You know when a drug addict reaches the point where they are selling anything and everything that they have for one more hit. Their entire family and friend circle has abandoned them because they have reached the lowest point. I think they refer to it as hitting rock bottom.
That would be my state with Michigan State Football.
I did watch the game with Moodini and I looked at him at one point and said, "I don't know if I can be a fan of this program anymore." When you think about it, you generally support a program because you like what they are about. You like what they represent. Michigan State Football does not represent me and my attitudes in any way. I like to believe I'm a determined person, a fighter, somebody that pushes harder when up against the ropes. MSU Football doesn't do that EVER. So why are they my team? I really do not know. I hope nobody ever questions whether I'm a loyal person or not. I think my support for this embarrassing program is the definition of loyalty.
