Another great offseason signing.
Does this free up some plays for BMW?

Lions cut receiver Bradford

ALLEN PARK -- Injuries on the offensive line have caused the Lions to juggle their roster, and wide receiver Corey Bradford was a victim of the numbers crunch.
Bradford, signed as a free agent in the off-season to provide a deep threat, was released Wednesday afternoon. There was no immediate announcement from the Lions on the identity of the lineman they had signed.
Bradford started the opening game against Seattle but did not play well and was relegated to backup status for the next two games. He provided little impact, and the focus of the passing game was on Roy Williams and Mike Furrey.
Rookie wide receiver Shaun Bodiford, who made the team as an undrafted free agent, has been told he will be active for Sunday's game at St. Louis. Bodiford was inactive for the first three games because of an injured left knee. He returned to practice Wednesday on a fulltime basis.
Injuries have hit the Lions hard on the offensive line. There have been three starters at right tackle in the first three games. Rex Tucker and Barry Stokes both have missed two of the first three games. Ross Verba started at left guard in Sunday's loss to Green Bay after missing the first two games. Verba went out early in the first series with a hamstring injury and did not return.
